U Konserve Stainless Steel Food Storage Bento Box Container, Leak Proof Silicone Lid Dishwasher Safe - Plastic Free (15oz Clear)

The silicone lid for this is amazing. It's so easy to apply and take off, not like the more plastic-y lid for our other U-Konserve tin that we bought about 6 years ago. You don't need to use force with the silicone lid -- it comes off smoothly and you don't risk spilling/overturning the container when the lid comes off in one big go. The silicone lid is also much clearer/more transparent than the plastic lid. We bought the identical size for this new purchase, and the two lids (the silicone and the more rigid plastic one) are totally interchangeable. I really appreciate how they managed to improve the lid without changing the design of the tin, so things still fit and stack with previous models.

Sturdy. Nice lids. Cheaper to buy set than individually. Cleans well in dishwasher. I wash lids by hand, although that's probably not necessary. Much preferred to plastic or even glass storage. No plastic leaching or chipped glass. Nice selection of sizes. Wish there was a rectangular set with larger sizes.

Really pleased with this container! I got the 30 oz one. The silicon lid fits very securely and is oddly satisfying to use. The stainless steel feels of good quality and has held up well for nearly daily use. It's maybe a little pricey for the size but it feels well designed and is generally a joy to handle. I like the square shape as it's very space efficient. I have a 4 cup pyrex storage that always feels trickier to place in the fridge while only holding 2 more ounces.

I’ve been using U Konserve for almost 20 years, and they’ve been incredibly reliable. I purchased three of these containers a long time ago, and they’re still going strong. Over the years, the lid design has been updated to a more flexible silicone, but my original sturdy yet flexible plastic lids still work perfectly. The base has remained mostly the same, with just a slight change in branding engraving.They also nest neatly into one another, which saves space—just be sure to do this only when everything is completely dry. I use them to meal prep my toddler’s entire week of snacks, and they’ve been a fantastic solution. Highly recommend!

Great little stainless steel container. I've been looking to reduce the anmount of food - plastic contact, and this container helps me do that. I realize the lid is silicone, but silicone is not considered a plastic. The container is sturdy and I expect it to last a long time. My only, minor, complaint is that the container has a rolled lip on it. This gives it some thickness for the lid to attach to, but my experience with rolled edges is that they trap a little bit of water when cleaning the item.

I ordered one and was pleased with the quality of the container and the fit of the top over the container. I have since ordered another one and was pleased with the quality of that one, too.

Didn't realize this was a final sale item. Tried returning it after I realized the plastic lid was so flimsy, hard to put on, and didn't create a good seal. Went to go return it and Amazon didn't allow me to return the item.

I am teacher and I like to take a small salad in my lunch every day and the stainless steel containers from U Konserve keep my lettuce cold and crispy with just a small icepack in my lunchbox. Plastic, which I hate and glass which is heavy, just didn't keep my salad cold. But the U Konserve keeps it really cold and are the perfect size for a small salad that I can easily eat during my short 30 minute lunch. Love the products from U Konserve and will definitely buy more styles and sizes from them in the future.
