Enjoyed this build
I really enjoyed doing this build. It was really just an afternoon’s pastime but looks good when done and even has a pull out drawer. I am adding it to my Christmas Lego. I wish Lego as you pay over the odds to get any from elsewhere. This one was free with VIP and so a profit has been made by someone. That being said I was prepared to pay as I wanted it and I suppose that is how the market works!! It came on time with tracking which was also good so can recommend seller.

Alternative
This was bought as an expensive alternative christmas card.Maybe next year i will buy a light kit for it.I wish I had gave it as a week before open up present so it could be displayed longer.I will have to buy similar christmas scenes now to build up a huge display.......is this a gift or really for me.

Built within 35 mins. A great little set to add to the Christmas collection.

Disappointed
This is a great set to display at Christmas and there are a lot of lovely details eg the candles and the snow outside.But my main complaint is that it is somewhat one-dimensional. There is just the one scene, with Scrooge looking through a window at Bob Cratchet and his son Tiny Tim. There is literally nowhere else to place the characters. A door might have helped instead of a window and maybe a cooked turkey, and an alternative smiley face for Scrooge. That way, you get a before and after scene, which is the whole point of the story. I am glad I have the set but a bit disappointed.
