New Balance Men's 806 V1 Tennis Shoe

In my opinion this is a very good, supportive tennis shoe. Many others shared that they felt this shoe was running small so I ordered it a half-size larger than normal. They were too big; I returned them and ordered my usual size, and they fit perfectly.

Simply the best tennis shoe ever made, well fitting, durable and very comfortable.

I work for USPS and these shoes were great while I had them with some very minor issues. This will be my 2nd pair.They wore down to almost nothing at just under the year mark. The foam sole retained most of its properties but I could definitely tell the foam wasn't as reactive around the 6 month mark and I was starting to feel the ground more. There isn't much for support. These are extremely lightweight and comfortable but your feet will warm up quick in direct sunlight because of the material that the upper is made of, although they do breath well. It looks like New Balance has stopped producing the New Balance Men's Fresh Foam Slip Resistant 806 V1 Industrial Shoe or are planning on coming out with a newer version so whatever is available is most likely all that's left I'd assume. New Balance has the Fresh Foam Arishi v4sr as a similar alternative. I also ordered those directly through New Balance as I like to have at least 2 pair of sneakers to switch up. Overall the New Balance Men's Fresh Foam Slip Resistant 806 V1 Industrial Shoe is a great shoe if you're going to be relatively active for work. I'd probably not suggest these for a restaurant setting honestly. As they do breath well, I'd imagine water and oils would seep in easily and create a problem. I'd rather give these 3.5 stars just because of the issues I experienced. Worth the price of $79.99 as of this review on 06/01/2023.

Best tennis shoe for pickleball for me!

I have worn New Balance for many years and have noted the quality is worsening and I have had problems with the last three pairs I have had. First, the insert is now about 1/16 inch thick, which means your foot is basically on the shoe foundation. There is literally NO padding and it hurts my feet. Next, the stitching is subpar and in the last three pairs I have had, has broken on the left/right near my little toe and come open. Once that happens, there is not much you can do and I even tried gluing but it does not hold. There is also no arch support to speak of now, but there used to be. The construction causes immense metatarsal pain, even up you leg to calves and knees.I will not buy these again and will look for a better shoe with better insert padding and arch support as well as reinforced stitching in areas that are continually stressed. There quality has gone away and they wear faster than I remember. Oh yes, the price has increased to where you really are wasting a hundred dollars or more.I do not recommend these shoes and will not buy them anymore. Read the review before buying !!Addendum: I bought Asics and the difference is night and day so much that I am sold on Asics in the future. Better made, better padded, FAR MORE COMFORTABLE and it stays together when stressed! The insert is about 1/4 inch and is a great for your feet. No more New Balance for me.

Nice made shoes but were too tight for me. Sent them back. My older pair of the same fit fine.

This New Balance shoe is a great choice for a shoe. My son easily does 10,000 steps each day between work, workout and life. This shoe offers support and is durable. As a diabetic he has to take extra care of his feet. This shoe allows for his prescribed orthotics in comfort. He is a 13 4E - this is his shoe of choice for good foot health, comfort and stability.

My size is a 10.5 B and New Balance is the only exercise shoe I find that comes in a narrow width. I also require good arch support. Unfortunately, the company no longer makes my favorite cross-trainer, the #624 and the 623 model does not come in a narrow width. Therefore I bought the Men's 806 V1 Tennis Shoe in 10.5 B. The shoe is a bit more expensive but is a nice looking shoe and appears to be made very well. The shoe fits perfectly according to size and has good arch support. Although it is a "tennis shoe" I think it will work nicely for all my exercise routines. Received the shoes in "new" condition, well packaged and arrived earlier than expected. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend.
