Iwata Revolution (R 4500) CR Airbrush with IS-50 Silver Jet Air Compressor

After reading every review on every make up airbrush I could get my hands on I settled on this one. It's very compact and sits on the bathroom counter easily. I expected it to be bulkier, but its no bigger then a lunch box. What I really love about it is you can use any liquid make up in it, not just the stuff especially formulated for use in airbrush machines that costs and arm and a leg. I have some very heavy liquid foundation that's oil based and on its highest setting it pushes it through. It takes a while, but I get a flawless airbrushed end result. The air brush itself is a double action gun, which is way better than a single action and easier to use. Everything comes nicely packaged, and very easy to set up with clear directions (that I didn't even need because set up was that easy). This is my first airbrush, and right now its everything I need it to be.

Used it once and it worked perfectly, used it a second time and it sprayed in globs. Checked the Nozel and the tip that holds the needle came off!

I use this for plastic model kits, the brush's nozzle is 0.5 which is a bit big and makes this much better for spraying larger surface areas. The compressor is a bit loud and the noise can get annoying after a while but the pressure is consistent after 2-3 years of use and no signs of giving out yet.

I got this for my girlfriend. She asked me to buy it for here she heard about it through a friend. She said it doesn't work as well as she had hoped but didn't give up on it yet. will update if her opinion changes.
