Vivarium [Blu-Ray] (English audio)

I wouldn’t say there is a huge storyline with a lot of changes, which normally I find quite boring but this movie actually had my attention the whole time. Really gets you thinking and questioning.

A strange movie that starts off great but becomes repetitive and the movie drags its heels, I kept watching hoping it would redeem itself with some more information, it reminded me a bit of The Matrix in that they were not trapped in reality but were plugged into some computer somewhere, it was good in parts but ending was disappointing.

I am a major film buff and will watch anything and everything at least once just to see what it's like. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie as did numerous other members of my family. Yes it is odd, confusing and outrageous at times but it keeps you constantly intrigued as to what is going to happen next right until the very end. I don't think it is overly specific in terms of genre, it's a bit of horror, thriller, sci fi, comedy, romantic and action so appeals to a wide audience. I would have prefered a slightly happier ending but is by far one of the best movies I have seen of late. Would definitely recommend giving it a watch.

Good original story, well acted and directed. A creepy horror/thriller that will stay in the mind for a long time. This is a horror film that does not rely on gratuitous violence. It is a depiction of suburbia where the main characters are trapped within a nightmare scenario with no escape until a task is completed to win their ultimate "Release"! A horror in the true sense!

This movie is truly, one of the weirdest and unsettling movies I have seen. And it does this so well. I never expected what was going to happen in this movie, so I was left speechless all the way throughout until the very end. It's a great idea, and its done flawlessly. Imogen Poots and Jesse Eisenberg do a fantastic job in this movie. You won't be disappointed in the slighest, get this movie.
