Q: Can these markers be used on fabric?

I've successfully used these Pilot pens on silk scarves and silk ties, however, you MUST heat set them so they don't bleed when washing. To heat set, lay a press cloth over your item. Set your IRON to NO STEAM and a warm temp suitable to item fabric. Press specific area and hold for 2-3 seconds several times, don't slide iron back and forth. Use on scrap fabric first, heat set then wash to get desired results.

Q: would these pens be recommended for getting autographs, that won't fade with time, on record labels, like old 45 RPM's?

They would be excellent except for one thing--autographs are typically signed by someone quickly--these pens rely on slow to medium speed to flow the thicker ink out. If your signer will take their time, these will produce an excellent, brilliant , long-lasting result. My .02
