Excellent dash cam
I love this dashcam. Relatively easy installation in BMW F83. Good picture quality. WiFi sync with iPhone is good but slightly slow download speeds. Computer BlackVue video viewer is very good. Auto shut off when parked in extreme heat. I use BlackVue battery for parking mode. Works very well.

Great camera

Unmitigated Junk.
I figured spending this much on a dash cam would guarantee a good experience, I was wrong. I've had this camera for nearly two years and every interaction I have with it makes me loathe it even more.ProsGreat form factor.Physical build quality.ConsDoesn't work with any other SD card I've tried except Blackvue cards.Blackvue SD cards above 32gb are absolute highway robbery.Time on the camera does not sync with the GPS module 95% of the time, nor does it keep time when unpowered.Picture quality is just ok.Audio quality is awful.Only user adjustable video quality option is bitrate, framerate and resolution cannot be changed.App often doesn't work.I've had a much better experience with a $60 Mobius action cam.

Very handy
The videos are very clear and crisp. It is small enough to not interfere with drivers view. Very pleased. The things I did not like are 1) the annoying voice telling you the camera is turned on or turning off. I will have to see if I can change a setting on it. The second thing is that it seems that you have to upgrade and pay a fee to have views if you are not near the vehicle and it is not turned on. Again, I will have to play with it to see if I can change it. The last thing I did not like it the sticky tape to take off the base when mounting, it was not easy to come off and I worried that I may wreck the tape as I struggled to get it off.It is a decent price and is doing the job that it was purchased for, peace of mind and video.

Best dash cam
I have one on my truck and got second one for wife’s Bronco. Great phone app, works perfectly with nice options. Parking mode great and won’t drain battery with the voltage option. Worth the extra money and my son installed it in under 30 minutes. Put it behind rearview mirror and doesn’t obstruct view at all, don’t even know it’s there.

Power cable is very very bad
The power cable it comes with works off a fuse that supply power when plugged into a car charger port. The fuse it came with was busted and didn't work and I was unable to get any replacment fuse to work in it. I was able to find a random power cable that worked but the original I just tossed out. Everything else is alright you get what you pay for. Picture quality leaves something to be desired your probably not getting license plates off it but if they don't run or you can manage to get their plate before they do it would be fine to show whos at fault.

The Jury is still out.
I had bought this used and not sure on reliability. The last Blackvue dashcam that failed lasted 5 years before failure which I would guess is fairly good for a dashcam, of course that Blackvue was bought brand new.
