Great for baby food
I used to spend ages cutting up dinner into tiny mushable lumps so my baby could eat what we were eating because I wanted to avoid spending a small fortune on the decives intended for baby food. Then my partner suggested this and it was a game changer. A fraction of the price and arguably better. The way its works means I can vary the size of the lumps as LO gets older. Easy to use, easy to clean and good value for money.

Sturdy, good quality chopper.
A small manual chopper that works as intended but has some limitations. As the bicker is small, you can’t put large chunks of veg in it at one time. You also need to chop them into smaller pieces first. Hard veg such as carrot will be harder to chop. If you need a huge amount to be chopped, you will need to do it in a few batches so it’s not practical for this purpose. But other than that, this product works perfectly fine. It’s very simple to use, you put veg/onion/garlic in the bicker, close the lid and pull the string. There are three very sharp blades together with two paddles that will rotate and slice the veg horizontally. The more you pull the string, the finer your veg will be. I’d imagine you’ll have a strong but achy arm after all the pulling. Lol. The cutting results are good, the veg is evenly cut.Perfect for small families or students as it’s small and won’t take a lot of space in the kitchen cabinet or on the tabletop. It has a non-slip base and spill-proof lid with safe locking. All the parts are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. The product seems sturdy and of good quality. For the current price of £32.48, I do think this product is a little bit overpriced. You can find much cheaper options for a similar product on Amazon. However, Tefal is a trusted brand and with Jamie Oliver putting his name on this product, it’s showing his confidence and trust in this product’s quality and durability. In short, it’s a sturdy and portable chopper that works as described. It’s easy to use and clean. Not suitable if you need a large amount to be chopped.Thank you for reading.

A brilliant piece of kitchen kit
I love this. It chops with ease. Onions are a piece of cake. Salsa is easily made too. I don't normally buy named pieces of kit but was desperate to replace my little onion chopper that had broken after years of use.I am very happy with my purchase. Many thanks

Great for 1 person but not suitable for family cooking
The media could not be loaded. This is a tefal and Jamie Oliver chopper and I was really looking forward to using it.The idea is really good and in theory it should be a fabulous product, but it has its down sides and the main one being the capacity and the size of the items that you put in.It comes boxed and with a good set of instructions. Fortunately for me my daughter was with me and read the instructions aloud as the writing is small. The blades are fitted and you drop the products to be chopped into it. Then you pull the string quickly a number of times to chop the product as small as you require. The issue for me is this. If I have to peel the item, then chop it small enough to fit in the chopper, I may as well just finish chopping myself. For example onions. I hate chopping onions but I love cooking with them so I took 2 medium sized onions and peeled, then cut them in half. They were too big to fit in so I had to cut them smaller. The chopper then chopped them well but they were quartered to fit in. 🧅 🍄Mushrooms - I managed to put in 2 whole mushrooms. The chopper didn't chop, it just stirred them around. So I had to cut them in half. It did then chop them well, nice and small, but I often just half mushrooms to cook anyway so for the effort, its just as easy to fully prepare them yourself if you already have to cut them.If you are making a sauce then it would help you to get the veggies small enough, or if you were making a soup for one for example it would be useful, but for cooking for 3, I needed to keep emptying and re-filling the chopper,Washing is easy, it can be put in the dishwasher but I quickly hand washed it, just be careful of the blades as my daughter cut her finger trying to put it back together when it was dry.So overall I think its a nice but expensive gadget, £40 at its current selling price. I will use it again but I wouldn't go and buy one unless they made one with a much bigger capacity. 😕
