Urfa Biber Pepper by Crimson and Clove (2.6 oz.)

These peppers are NOT SPICY. Don’t get me wrong, I love spicy food but for those of you who don’t, urfa peppers are great and very flavorful. I use them alone or I sometimes mix the urfa with a standard Greek seasoning mix which is wonderful on chicken.

This is a great product - it adds a subtle smokiness and a hint of heat to soups and roasted vegetables. The smell and taste is unlike anything I've ever tried. It's been fun to experiment with adding this to existing recipes. A little goes a long way, so it's a great value. And I'm happy to support the small business that makes it.

What a great pepper: it's a fascinating flavor profile with a good amount of heat and a smoky, earthy, raisin-like taste. LOVE IT!

This is a wonderful hot-ish pepper with fruity notes. So good in so many things, from soups to popcorn.

This pepper is ok- I think that since I frequent the farmer’s markets and purchase a wide variety of international peppers locally grown it isn’t as impressive as it might be for those w/o access.

I liked it... kind of a flavorful sweet Black pepper.

This is more a seasoning, it has amazing depth & nuances of flavor. I put it on everything! It’s hard to describe as you can see, but I truly couldn’t live without it! I was using a recipe from Cooks & that’s where I found out about it. The best!
