MacGregor Steel Umpire Indicator, 3 x 1.5 x 0.5

Started using this indicator in the mid 70's As a 12 year old..almost 61 now and only one I like..dont like the feel of the cheap plastic ones.

Been using this version for forty years. It still works well. Quality is still good.

The color coordination is off.If you want outs as red, then strikes should be black, and balls as green.Strikes should never be indicated as green which implies 'go'

I like keeping score at the grandkids games. This comes in handy with all the breaks

Definitely prefer this shape to the normal shape of these. Much more comfortable and easier to do without looking. Feels quality. Been using this whole season while I coach and still looks brand new. Wheels turn easily but securely.

The top wheel rubs against the metal cover and slowly shaves off a little bit of plastic every time you turn it The bottom wheel was loose and I had to readjust into place, pound the pin in more, and wrap the whole thing with tape to keep it closed so that the wheel doesn’t fall out. I’m actually pretty happy with it now

Don't be the guy that loses track of the count! I've used this through a lot of games and really like this unit. It's rare to find one that's metal instead of cheap plastic and I especially like that the wheels are different colors. Look at the others for sale and you can imagine that out on the field the numbers all start looking the same. The color coding on this one really helps you keep your focus on the game instead of the count, which means you'll feel more confident behind the plate with this in your hand. And that will make you a better umpire.
