I bought this chair, not for massages, but to use at a workbench.I have a spinal condition so I can't work at my workbench for any real length of time without being in a lot of pain.I got this chair in an effort to be able to sit at my workbench longer.It has made an amazing difference.I took the headrest off as I don't need it.I pushed it right up against the bench and by having the pad support my chest, thus taking strain off of my back, I can work at my projects a lot longer.As far as sturdy goes, this thing is solid. I'm about 280 lbs and wouldn't be afraid to stand on it if I didn't think I would fall off. :DOverall, I highly recommend this if you are in the market for this type of chair and need one on the hefty side.

Headrest adjustment came loose after few use. The headrest would pop down during the service which was dangerous and scared the client.Adjustment handle broke off after 6monthsUpdate: after my review the agent contact me and offer a full refund . 5 stars for great customer service not product.

For the money I don't see how anyone using this at home can go wrong, but of coarse there are a few caviates. The face pad mount needed to adjust with a rubber hammer to get it up out of the main frame. The seat mount is drilled in the wrong place for comfort. I drilled a new hole 1" lower on the frame than the one it came with and it got better. I should have drilled it somewhere between 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" to get the comfort level right for me. I am 6 ft tall with a long waist - short leg body style. No matter how I adjusted the seat to begin with, it hit my thighs at the front and was not feeling good. Now it is acceptable but like I said, redrill the front seat mount on the main frame more than I did if you are uncomfortable with the stock position. This chair also comes with a pretty nice carry bag if you didn't notice. All in all, after only having it over night and this morning, I am satisfied and I feel like I made the right choice. I don't do massage, I am the recipient so comfort means everything to me. That is what massage is all about.

I am a massage therapist who also does chair massage events on the side for extra income, but not often enough to drop $400 on an earthlite chair. So far this chair has been great and at a great price. I’ve used it on all size clients and has proven to be sturdy. All pieces can be adjusted to size. Hold chest piece in place when adjusting face cradle height or both will move simultaneously. Would also recommend putting socks on the legs before placing in carry bag as bag does seem to be a little thin. Overall very satisfied with this purchase!

It got stuck a few times so I try not to move it it is comfortable to sit on for tattoo.

Opens nicely, fits well in the case, and the cushions are comfortable for the clients. A good product for the price.

This by far is the best massage chair we've purchased. You cannot go wrong with this great chair.

This was an easy setup! Needed this for my victrectomy eye surgery. Helped keep my head down until the eye bubble went away. We were amazed at the value. Chair is light enough too move around. My only gripe is that the head cushion is way too small. It's like burrowing your cheeks into a golf hole. I recommend buying a separate and larger head cushion that's also sold on Amazon. Wish they sold this with choice of size. Still, this is better than renting one at this cost!
