Good quality bread knife at a reasonable price
I had owned my previous bread knife for years. As I always bought sliced bread, it was rarely used. When I started to bake my own bread, I discovered that this old knife was extremely blunt. I owned a knife sharpener but this had minimal effect on it. When I attempted to use it to cut a loaf of bread, it simply hacked at it producing irregular slices which were difficult to toast. I saw this knife on Amazon at a very reasonable price and decided to buy it. What a difference it made! It cuts the bread cleanly and evenly, producing thin slices ideal for putting in the toaster. I found that the knife had a secure, non-slip handle which was comfortable to hold. I liked the fact that the knife was not too long. My existing bread knife was very long, for no good reason that I could think of. This knife was a practical length. Overall this was a good quality knife at a very reasonable price. Recommended.

Surprising
I was looking for a good overall carving knife and I wasn't disappointed by this knife. It cut roast beef smoothly, cleanly and thinly. It has cut pork, ham and chicken just as easily. The knife is super sharp, sturdy and durable.I like that the end is not pointed, partly due to the fact I had a very bloody mishap when I dropped a pointed kitchen knife recently on/in my foot.I have also invested in a set of their standard kitchen knives, which are just as good as this knife. With it being Christmas week I have been peeling, dicing, slicing etc all week and this carving knife and the kitchen knife set of the same have held up very well and been a pleasure to work with, with no sign of them needing sharpening as yet.Their standard is surprisingly good given the low price point and I do recommend them.

Converted sceptic
Like others, I was highly dubious that such a cheap knife would be any good. However, also like others, I've had expectations overturned. I needed a new carving knife for Xmas and was tempted by some of the highly rated, but very expensive, options. Deciding to wait until the new year sales to invest, I opted for this to "tide me over". I've now used it over a dozen times and it's great. No sales needed. The rounded tip means no sharp point to stab you when washing up, it glides through turkey, beef, gammon and chicken. (Small bones or gristle instantly surrender). It only loses a star as I found the "soft grip" handle slippery. I thought at first I'd got grease or meat juices on it but I hadn't. It's a problem easily solved with some kitchen roll or a tea towel. I don't know how long it'll last until the edge needs sharpening but for the price I'm not bothered. I accidentally ordered 2 (blame Xmas chaos for the brain fade) but I'm now claiming it as a genius decision. Highly recommended.

Carves roast beef perfectly
Brought this as I always like to serve thin slices of beef and my current knives even when sharp weren't up to the job, but so glad I ordered this before Christmas as I was able to cut lovely thin slices of my beef joint, and left overs were perfect for sandwiches, thin and tender slices. This knife is comfortable to use and very sharp, great price too. I'm keeping it for my roasts.

Cheap but excellent bread knife
I wanted an everyday bread knife but not a slim one and this blade is quite broad and so cuts though bagels/rolls/buns and tea cakes very nicely. I use it mainly for large bakery loaves and it’s great.I hate knives with pointed tips as it’s so dangerous and this comes with a nice blunt tip, squared off so it doesn’t catch you at all.So glad I found it and it was very reasonable to buy.
