Amazing cooling, completely inaudible, and great underclocking.
I was one of the lucky people able to snag this using the 1-click purchase button that's available back in October. While awesome, I was really worried about the quality of the card as I had never owned a Gigabyte before and, at the time, there weren't too many reviews for the Gaming OC.I've been happily surprised at just how good this card is. To start with the obvious... it's a 3080. It's incredibly powerful. I play pretty much every game at 1440p, 100-200FPS with ray-tracing where applicable. Thanks to it's impressive passive cooling, the card stays at a cool 55-63 the entire time, and is essentially inaudible. Seriously, I don't think I've ever heard it a single time. It's super quiet and, when the temps are under 50 (like when you're maybe watching Netflix or doing something passively), it has a feature where they won't even spin to make them even quieter. On top of that, if you want to keep the temps even lower, underclocking can be done with just a few button presses using Afterburner. Oh yeah, it comes with a stock 4 year warranty if you register it, which is the best out there for any GPU.Overall, if you're able to choose a 3080 to buy (or more realistically if you luck out into somehow getting this one into your cart) rest assured that it's a fantastic card you'll love owning.

Best Graphics In Agea
Still hard to get due to demand outweighing supply, so I had to pay a slight premium over MSRP, but needed a new card for my new machine for work and gaming. This is, simply, a phenomenal upgrade from my previous RTX card and one that all but kills slowing issues and chugging graphics even at the hugest settings. Great card, looks beautiful in my case, and unless you need the extra RAM and CUDA cores for intense simulations the 3090 will give you, this is the top of the line right now.

Great buy
I was lucky enough to log in and just happened to see it in stock. Great card. I havent upgraded in 10 years. Came from a gtx970. Runs cool. Just be careful with the pcie power pins. I slightly bended mine while installing.

Impressed.
By pure luck snagged one with 1-click buying.Overclocks on its own to around 2010mhz. Fans are very quiet, even at full load. Sticks to 70c or under, no crashing issues, no coil whine, very happy.

Crashing
I’m so frustrated I don’t write reviews but I ordered this thing on September 30th by the luck of the gods, didn’t get it until Nov 3rd from numerous pushbacks in my delivery and and multiple delays. I finally get the card and I’m continuously black screened when I try to play Horizon Zero Dawn , even with the latest drivers. Don’t bother with Gigabyte

Pins bent on power socket
When I was installing the card the first set of the 8 pin power cable went in fine. But the second cable would not go more than half the way down into the socket. Turns out that 2 of the pins on the bottom left the 2nd socket on the card were bent, preventing me from connecting (see 2nd picture). I also put a picture of the tools that i used to bend the pins back straight. This is a common problem with the gigabyte gaming oc 3080. After i straightened the pins the card installed fine, and the card runs great!

Next generation graphics card
This graphics card truly is next generation, incredibly powerful allowing playing pretty much all games at highest settings @ 1440p/4K. Very quite fan, barely noticable when at 100%.

Quiet and powerful with some small quirks
Theres alot to like about this card its well reviewed, one of the best coolers and the price to performance is great. The card stays between 65 - 70c and is whisper quiet even at high load. I have noticed some small quirks to mention when it comes to the fan control. The fan doesnt want to go under 50% and it does have the fan stop feature which can cause the fan to jump from 0 to 50% and back again at light loads. Its not really a big issue but might annoy some people having the fans ramp up and turn off constantly. I've decided just to leave the fans at 50% because you literally cant hear it at that speed. The other issue I've noticed is RGB fusion which is a gigabyte/aorus software does not recognize the RGB lights on the card meaning I cant control them. I would imagine an update for this will come. I took a star off for these 2 things but this comes with being an early adopter, if gigabyte fixes them I will update my score. Out of the box this card boosts to over 1900mhz and sometimes over 2ghz and the cooler is extremely quiet it also has a dual bios too which is nice, so for the main things that count this card is great.
