Warms efficiently
These gloves heat almost instantly and have 3 levels of heating. They work as advertised and are comfortable. There is a velcro closing pocket just inside the cuff of each glove that holds the battery. It is a little difficult to get the velcro pocket open and to insert the plug into its compartment initially but after a couple of weeks the velcro opens easier and the inserts are not quite so resistant. All in all, I purchased the gloves for my husband and he is very happy with them for our cold winter mornings when he is out walking for exercise.

keeps fingers warm at a reasonable price
My hands have always gotten cold fast and in recent years I've developed Raynaud's syndrome where my fingers turn white when cold. I've been researching heated gloves for a year or so and I decided to try these as a Christmas present to myself. After 2 months and probably 6-10 wearings, I can say this:Heat:1. these gloves work well!2. the price was a lot less than many others and I think the quality is pretty high3. If it's 30 degrees F or below, you'll likey need to run them on High4. If it's 40-50 and windy you'll likely still need to run them on High5. maybe in that 40-50 temperature range with no wind the Medium or Low setting will be OK6. I haven't really found a scenario that I didn't want to run them on high :-).7. I think the batteries lasted about 2 hours total per charge on high.Size:1. I'm 5'7" and 150lbs and my hands are not "large" but I ordered large and I'm glad I did2. The "thickness" of the fingers is a little "thin" - squeeze my fingers a little more than ideal, but the length is a touch long3. I'm guessing XL would be "too long" but likely squeeze my fingers lessOther:1. somehow the fingertips work quite well with touch screen phones2. I'm going to look to see if I can purchase the batteries separately to keep a pair charged3. The "On" button and heat setting is a little obvious, LEDs on the backs of your hands. I don't care, but someone concerned with style might look around some. I like the functionality. So, if you've been waiting to try some heated gloves, I have been happy with these. You could give it a shot when you'll be able to gauge if they're good enough for your situation (like, in the middle of winter, not in spring :-) so you can return them within 30 days if you don't like them. But I like mine!

Descent for a reasonable price.
I have Heated Gerbing Gloves and Jacket liner. Used them for 15 years, and they are still perfect. But they were over $350.00 with the 12 volt thermostat. They also had corded power.I needed something that had a battery, so I took a chance on these, from Amazon.I needed something for snow blowing and plowing with my tractor. Temperatures in teens and lots of wind. These were extremely nice. No cords, batteries come out and are rechargeable. About 2 hours to full charge. On medium at fully charged I get 3.5 to 4.0 hours of use. So I bought a second set of batteries and I can go all day. I bought XL and have pretty big hands, these fit me well. Good value.

Bought these for use on a motorcycle in Denver
Let start by acknowledging these are not motorcycle-specific gloves. They don't offer the protection of a glove designed for that purpose, despite "motorcycle riding" being used in the description. I knew there would be no knuckle guards nor real abrasion resistance when I purchased. It's up to you as a rider to choose your level of protection.OK, that said, I try to ride year-round in Denver since we do get some good days throughout Winter. I can keep everything warm enough except my hands. My current bike doesn't have a decent electrical system so adding extra draw was not an option. Actual heated motorcycle gloves cost at least twice as much as these and I'm a self-proclaimed cheapskate. I do use handlebar muffs when it's cold, since even heated gloves or heated grips won't do their job well if you don't block the freezing cold air from blowing across them.Shipping/ packaging:They arrived pretty quick and come in a simple but nice product box with a magnetic catch.FIT:I ordered Large but the fingers were too short. The rest of the glove fit OK. I returned them for extra large and the fingers are better, but unequal. Meaning, my longest fingers fit OK now but there's extra material past the tips of the thumb and a couple other fingers. My hands aren't some weird shape, and I've never had that problem with other gloves and I've never worn extra large gloves. Next, these gloves are bulky. I have pictures comparing them to 2 other pairs of my gloves, both with the gloves empty and on my hand. The pictures don't really show the difference in how they feel. I think the main problem is the lining is smaller than the outer shell by a good marginI had trouble operating the switches on my bike and my Bluetooth module on my helmet. My main cold-weather gloves are Firstgear TPG's, and these gloves are much more bulky throughout. That's not a surprise since they have the wires running through them, and I had to order extra large to get the correct finger lengths. It was a little better the second time I tried them, without the handlebar muffs in place. I was able to operate the blinker a bit better, but the main button I use on the BT module was still pretty much impossible.I think the gauntlet opening could be a bit bigger to fit over bulky coats since you'd typically wear these in the cold with a heavy coat, unless you're skiing/snowboarding.HEAT:The control for the heat is easy to use. The heat comes on pretty quick and it's actually pretty darn even. My ride without the handlebar muffs was at about 30 degrees this morning and my hands were fine. My fingers got a little chilly, but not that painful, biting cold I experience without heated gloves. I turned the heat down to medium and it was still good. I don't know how long the batteries will last or they'll hold up over time since I only used them twice and will likely return them for the issue below.QUALITY:That last picture shows how one of the retainers for the cinch mechanism failed the first time I used the gloves. It didn't tear loose when I put the gloves on, but I noticed it when I arrived at work. Hopefully just a bad sewing job on this one pair. The overall feel of the gloves is OK. Again, you'd pay a lot more for a better quality glove. They claim the palm is lambskin, but I find they're a bit slippery on my grips. I really wish the liner was a better quality like Hipora or something. The lining isn't really breathable enough.
