Vogelzang 6-Pk. of Firebrick, Model# FB-01

The fire bricks were all intact. Now the boxes were damaged but the bricks survived & in my stove heating the house as I write this! Highly recommend !

I used these bricks for the bottom of my fireplace. Before that, there was only a marble bed, that got really hot and dilated displacing the whole living room floor. I put the bricks together with Rutland Inc Dry Mix Refractory Cement and the result was great. Now my floor does not displace any more, and my fireplace looks finished.

These seem to work well. And they were the best price I could find. My only complaint is the packaging was not adequate... this is a box of 6 so they are heavy. 2 were broken in 1/2 but I was still able to use them.

I bought these for my enameling station. I built them up like a house and put the very hot enameled piece into it so it cools slower and at a more even heat. I also use the extra blocks for soldering. They are thinner and longer then a normal brick which makes it allot easier to work with in the way I do. They are very affordable as well, at my local fireplace shoppe they were almost double! Even with the expensive shipping this seller has. You also have to understand that the bricks are VERY heavy so taking that into consideration shipping is very fair.

Value for money, quality, and precision

I ordered 2 boxes for my 55 gal barrel stove, 6 per side. First dropped in a Vogelzang 55G Grate, placed Firebrick on both sides. You can place them in what ever way that gives you the most coverage.I went for the tallest way. The hot coals do not make contact with the thin steel drum giving it extra life. Add an old box fan and your in.
