Awesome Interactive Book and My Toddler's Favorite!
I bought this board book version after reading it in the library with my toddler and falling in love with it! It's durable for a toddler and perfect size for her hands with no worries about ripping the pages. We love all the Karen Katz books and her trademark babies and colorful and fun illustrations. I've been teaching my daughter the original "Wheels on the Bus" song so this book was a perfect compliment to that and includes some of the original lyrics, such as "The Wheels on the Bus go round and round," "the doors on the bus go open and close," and "the wipers on the bus go swish swish swish," as well as unique lyrics like "the babies on the bus bounce bumpity bump" and "the babies on the bus sing la-la-la."My favorite thing about this book is the interaction factor. As I sing each page to my daughter, I have her do hand motions for each page, such as opening and closing her hands for the doors, moving her hands side to side for the wipers, and bouncing her on my lap for when the babies bounce on the bus. It always makes her laugh as well as gets her involved with the story/song. It also teaches movement to a melody. We read this book every day and it never gets old! If your child loves "The Wheels on the Bus" he or she will love Karen Katz's version!

Daughters favorite book
My girls LOVE this book. One of them looks for it, finds it and brings it to me to read everyday and we read it multiple times. My other daughter likes to sit and look at the pictures. It is very cute and will buy again for future gifts.

Absolutely FIVE stars!
Absolutely FIVE stars. Between myself (the grandmother) and the parents, we have a number of "Wheels on the Bus" books and offshoots thereof. This one was an immediate hit and continues to be so. Some readers may miss the lift-up flaps which seem ubiquitous in Karen Katz books, but that feeling won't last--this book definitely does not need them. My18-month-old granddaughter loves the baby aspect of the book, especially when the babies sing la-la-la, cry, and "fall fast asleep." But even her 6-year-old brother wants to get in on the fun when it is read--I mean SUNG, because you have to sing it, of course. When he's around, I change the driver's "shush" of the crying babies to "The brothers on the bus go shush, shush, shush, etc." which delights him no end. The illustrations also rank among the best, in my opinion, of the Karen Katz books in terms of attention to detail. There is a lot of joy and laughter when we "read" this one!

Better than cocomelon
Fantastic book that doesn't have mom being the kill joy and dad being the love bug like cocomelon's version with mom saying "sh sh sh" and dad saying "I love you"
