Easy to fit, and DS920+ booted without any issue. System now shows 8GB memory and price was very reasonable.

Not the fastest but good value. No issues to report and perfect for a mini PC. Don't expect fancy packaging.

Works fine with a DS424Plus, great price compared to official RAM from Synology!

Ordered 2 of these to upgrade my Qnap TS-453A.Was a bit surprised and a little disappointed by the Amazon warehouse for dispatching two COMPLETLY different sticks of RAM.One Green from ChinaOne Blue from TaiwanAnyways...Both sticks were recognised by the NAS as Kingston and I'm happy to recommend, based on just over 24hrs of performance.

I purchased a HP ENVY Notebook - 15-k201na recently, which came with 8gb ram. 8gb is more than enough for most tasks, but I run alot of applications which require as much memory as you can throw at them, so I decided to buy some more ram. I looked on the official HP website and saw that it would cost £90 for HP branded ram (owch!). I downloaded a piece of software which would give me more details about the ram modules in my laptop - and surprise surprise, they were actually Kingston made, with a HP logo on them. I came to Amazon, typed in the ram model number and for £33(ish) delivered, I could get my hands on Kingston ValueRam, which is the exact same spec that is in my laptop! I've saved almost 2/3 of the cost of the 'HP' ram.If you're considering upgrading your ram - just know this - the newer HP models are quite difficult to open up. There are loads of screws, and the k201na laptop has what looks like a slightly indented piece of plastic guarding one of the screws - but it's actually a hard sticker! (Took me a while to figure that out. Believe me, it looks like it's plastic.) The motherboard is upside down inside the laptop which means that you have to remove the ribbons (cable connectors) inside the laptop. It's not a particularly difficult task, it just requires a steady hand.Since putting the ram in and connecting my laptop back up, I have noticed the difference. Files open quicker and my laptop doesn't feel as sluggish as it did before. I can actually allocate more memory to applications which need it, speeding everything up. Overall, a great Kingston-branded product. With a lifetime warranty, you can feel safe buying this ram! Highly recommended.

Worked perfectly on my Synology DS2415+. I am now happily running 16GB RAM on this.Just a heads up to anyone who is looking to upgrade the RAM on this model, you just need to remove the cover on the top of this unit (as well as the one on the side which is the user replaceable side, turn it on its side (I would recommend doing this on a towel, so that the side that is open with the user replaceable RAM is now on the towel). Gently then remove the RAM DIMM from the inside of the unit, if you are gentle and careful its not that hard to do. Insert the new RAM DIMM in the internal slot, turn it back on its normal position, replace the other DIMM on the user replaceable side, and you are done, you now have 16GB of RAM available for Synology applications.One other obvious thing to bear in mind, please remove all hard drive and hard drive caddy's before doing this.

I've been away from PC gaming for a while and have only recently purchased a gaming laptop to help with CAD and CFD simulation at work. Needed a kick of extra RAM, at the fastest clock speed improve the poor system spec installed by Asus. This did the job, took 2 minutes to install and instantly available. Would recommend to others.
