I like this charger. you can use a USB-c or a Micro USB cable to power the device. This makes it versitile. Takes up to 8 batteries, AA or AAA. i never time the charging but there's a battery indicator to tell you when a battery is full. nice bit of kit.

Works well
So far I have charged 24 AS and 16 A AS batteries, taking advantage of the discharge/charge cycle. The batteries appear to be getting a good charge so far the charger works well.

Simple to Use
Whilst you need an 5v adaptor, which most people have too many, this is a simple and efficient device for charging both AA and AAA rechargeable batteries. As individual cells can be charged, there is no unnecessary use, just charge the number of batteries you need (up to 8). Provided the electrical device is happy with the lower voltage of 1.2v (verses the 1.5v of disposable batteries), then you can save money and help save the planet. I wish there was a law that required all electrical devices to accept rechargeable batteries - perhaps an item for the COP26 agenda!

Excellent little charger
I bought this to replace my old Energiser charger which I had been using for I don't know how long, and my god what a difference! This thing was worth every penny as it has more slots than my old one but more importantly it charges them all up so much faster and it has a really nice battery level indicator above each one.People have told me that they found the basic Amazon batteries to be terrible, taking forever to charge then draing really quickly, not with this charger they aren't. If you are having problems with cheap rechargeable batteries then this could be the charger for you. I also like the way it has two slots on the top so it can accommodate two types of phone charger lead, Micro USB (Samsung) and Type C (Kindle Fire HD, Hawaei, Motorola, Etc)

Buy a USB C cable with this
Had to spend an additional £8.99 on a USB C cable because the micro USB cable that was included didn’t work, probably a broken port. But it worked fine with a USB C cable. Not really a fast charger either. Works hence the 3 stars, loses 2 because if I hadn’t had an odd usb c cable for testing it would have been returned.
