I needed an additional picture hanger for a large picture. the frame was designed to be used with a french cleat; so, I only needed one side (not the pair).This item was easy to install on the wall and seems sturdy enough. I cannot comment on the advertised weight supported, since my picture/frame weigh very little.

First time I have used picture frame hanging tools like this and I am pleased. I prefer this to the wire hanging, as you don't have to constantly adjust or hammer in tons of nails in the wall.What I like:1. Well packaged in a nice box with instructions. Everything pictured in the description is included2. Nice solid metal cleats with some thickness to it.3. Very easy to attach to the back of my wood frame. I marked the center of the frame and then the center of the cleat, lined them both up and then attached the cleat to the frame. I only made a tiny hole with my drill in my frame and could easily screw the screws in with a screwdriver to avoid splitting my frame. No need to drive the screws in with a drill.4. Very easy to level on the wall. I made cut outs of all of my picture frames and hung them on the wall. I marked the center of each frame on the wall and marked the center of the cleat on the cleat. I lined both and then marked the drill marks. Using my level, I made sure the cleat was level as I screwed it to the wall. And very easily hung my picture. It is level!What I don't likeNothing really - I like everything about this system. I do however, I wish it came with a small bubble level. I am using the one on my 12 inch ruler, but a smaller one on the frame would be easier to use. However, it is easy to slide the cleat up or down to level it before screwing it down. And you can unscrew it to readjust if you screw it on slanted, which I accidently did. Using my 12 inch ruler with level on the wall is preferable as it is easier to keep both level.

Very sturdy, easy to use and a good value. Not a ton of extras and I would recommend better wall anchors than what comes with it if you are hanging a really heavy piece.

The first time I got one of these, I used it to hang my 40in TV.This set here I used to hang a heavy painting. They sit solid on rails so the paintings or tvs will never tilt or go askew.

Two of these cleats are holding a large essential oil organizer cabinet my husband made. These are the ONLY thing I would trust to hold $500 worth of oils in glass bottles in a cabinet hung 4 feet over tile floors. The cabinet is secure and doesn't budge at all - even when I accidentally ran into the corner hard enough to scrape my arm and with enough force that it should have knocked the entire thing off the wall, it didn't even jiggle. We will be ordering more of these since my friends want him to make them cabinets, too, and they are easy for everyone to mount. Love the 3 pack!1 cleat securely holds a medicine cabinet sized cabinet.2 cleats easily hold my 20 x 28 inch half-kitchen-cabinet sized organizer on the wall with zero problems.If using these cleats to mount a cabinet, the cabinet has to have no back or has to have enough clearance between the backing board and the back cabinet edge to fit the cleat. French cleats are my preferred method for hanging pictures--easy to get your frames level and stay that way, and offers a little wiggle room when centering horizontally on a wall. These cheats are lightweight, easy to install, and good value for the money.

Good hanging option for heavier pictures. I've struggled to hang up my heavier art and I find that using the French Cleats are a better option. This is an economical way of hanging up paintings in a safe and secure manner.
