Satisfied
The media could not be loaded. I bought these 4”x10” for my car(amplified) they work great. I didn’t know at the time but they actually came with two rolls of like 15’ wires(I bought a roll for nothing lol).I bought them for rear speakers cause all I had at the time was (2)6”x9” front speakers and these actually sound cleaner and louder

works really good
I bought these for my 87 and 90 suburbans. They fit the factory holes perfect my only problem was getting them mounted. They don't mount like the factory ones and I didn't expect it to I was hoping for a little more hardware than what it came with. I ended up making my own mounting brackets and got them in.My package came with 14ft of red and grey speaker wire, 14ft of blue and grey speaker wire, 8 screws and 8 J clips for the screws and the speakers of course. Most people say 4x10 speakers are horrible but the sound quality was really good for the oddball size. I have not complaints about sound quality sounds like a new car.

This was the cure for my 1998 Tahoe Speaker Issues!
So after months of dealing with blown out speakers I couldn't take it anymore. I did some research and found these wonders here on Amazon. Because they were prime I had them in 2 days. This is the only option you need to consider for the rear roof speakers if you have a 90's Tahoe or Suburban like me. I did have to buy the metra speaker harness part# 72-4500 (I confirmed this is what you need for this to work). Also because the new kenwoods are taller/deeper overall I went to homedept and bought 8 plastic spacers from the hardware section (1/2"L x 1/4" I.D). Great news is it came with right size hardware so nothing further needed to be purchased. I was even able to re-use the factory covers so visually you have no idea anything has been changed. Speaker quality is great, crystal clear in the Highs and Mids, once again could not be happier!

1995 Chevy Tahoe Install Tips
1995 Tahoe install. These are the only speakers I know of that fit. They sound good, not much better than the factory ones. I did a little research and it seems these are the ones to buy: right size and screws line up right. Like another review said, they fit (almost). These are just a little deeper so they need to be spaced out from the mounting plate by a 1/4" or so. When I installed mine, I did not use any type of spacer. I just started screwing them in with the new longer screws. I tried to keep the space pretty even as I went and only tightened a little at a time. Also, polarity isn't an issue. It doesn't matter which wire goes to which side. Works either way. The factory harness doesn't match the tabs on the new speakers. Just cut the wires, twist them thru the hole in the speaker tab, tape, install. It's low voltage speaker wire after all. All in all it took me 30 minutes to install the first one, 15 to install the second. The tools you need are a 7mm socket to remove the 4 screw from the factory speaker, a utility knife to strip the wires back, electrical tape to wrap around the wires, and a phillips screw drive to install the new screws. In order to get the covers off your headliner, just pull the front side back or the backside forward to get the cover to bend a little in the middle. There are tabs that hold it in place. Just pull, it'll come off. These instructions should be the same for most 1990s Tahoes, Yukons, and Suburbans. My local car toys store wanted $200 to sell and install. You can order these and install them yourself for 50 bucks or so. Very easy. Fear not.

Great speaker, better than most other 4x10s
I first purchased the boss audio 4x10s to give them a try since they were way cheaper. I first hooked them up and their lows were horible so i returned them. I knew a more reputable brand would have better sound, but would be more money. So i purchased these kenwoods. As soon as a i hooked them up i was amazed at how much better they were. Their lows were exelent compared to the off brand, Boss Audio. But when you buy a cheaper pair, you get what you paid for. These kenwoods were well worth the price. I think these were cheaper when i purchased them, but now they are almost 20 bucks more. I installed these in my s10, and they sound great. If mine in my truck went out, i would purchase these again. These are a must if you need a cheap price with the combined of high quality.

Sounds great in my 93 S-10 Pickup
These speakers sound great in my 93 S-10 Pickup Ext. Cab. Good highs, and mids, but the bass is not good since it is not what they are meant for. But the bass it does produce does not get distorted if you have it the setting correct on the head-unit. When I add bass blockers and a sub to the cab, then it will all come together nicely. I used Infinity Reference 4x6's for the front and it all sounds wonderful. Much much louder, clearer and crisper with all new speakers.
