Q: Before i confirm purchasing, i just would like to confirm this model cpfr-bs-240-33 corresponds to black face plate and sues316 bezel ?

The answer is yes. It does have a black face and fits in a 2-1/16 hole for mounting. It is just as it appears in the picture.

Q: Is this a dampened fuel gauge?so when i hit a wave the needle does not jump around.i know the old wema were and looks like kus bought them

Don't know. Never noticed the needle being jumpy.

Q: Can i use for any bike ? i had honda shadow vt 1100 , is it ok ?

Your fuel sending unit that is in your tank , must be 240- 33 ohms or it will not give you a correct reading. The twohave to match in ohms requirements.

Q: I hooked this up this weekend. Is there a way to calibrate it? I have a 1/3 of a tank and it only reads right above empty.

The issue is with the sending unit in your fuel tank. It probably doesn't reach all the way to the bottom of the tank. This is fairly common on boats so you are more likely to maintain a good amount of reserve fuel.
