These peddles measure 1.25 inches larger than my original peddles and the spikes are about 3/4 inch larger as far as footprint.The grip improvement is amazing. My foot always slipped off the original peddles at critical times slamming into my shins. No slippage with these so far. It’s like they are glued to my shoe.

For $40 I figured "What the hell?" My bike came with a pair of beat up Shimano Saint mallets that were seriously thick/clunky and I wanted to replace them. I was hesitant about plastic/polymer pedals, but for the price and the color choices... why not? I have spent $40 on worse.I have ridden the more expensive "Aeffect" Pedals from Race Face and fell in love with them. Great grip, thin, sturdy. I have to admit that these are just as sure footed and sturdy feeling with less of a weight penalty. (I'm no weight weenie, I feel that my am poop will shed more weight then $500 of over hyped parts)Long story short. Great pedals. very smooth operation and tons of grip out of the 8 pins. I'll beat them up and report back on the durability

Simple install and works well. The spikes grab well and I don’t miss my clip in peddles. I would recommend wiping down the threads on your crank arm and then add a little bike grease to the threaded peddle before installing.

You cannot go wrong with these pedals. Tough as hell, I have smashed them against countless stumps and rocks. They also make pedal strikes less jarring because the plastic absorbs the blow. They are sticky sharp as well so your feet stay put, I have countless scars on my calves and shins to prove it.

Installed these Chesters (red color) on my new 17 Fuel EX Plus. The pedals are a 'true' deep red, and match the red highlights of the bike perfectly. Looks sweet, but performs even better. Admittedly I do not ride super aggressively, but my 190 lb. frame puts down a lot of force/pressure on my pedals, and these plastic pedals hold up very well. Just as good as any metal platform pedal I've ever used, and they're very lightweight to boot. I see no drawbacks to the nylon material, only upside. And they have cool color options for most tastes.

Bought these for my Bowflex C7 indoor bike to replace the stock pedals. Went right on. Great pedal traction. Spin nice and smooth. Wide platform. Color is what I wanted. I've only put about 100 miles on them, but I think they will last a long time. Perfect for my application.

Love these pedals. I put them on my trek fuel ex 8 and have ridden almost 400 miles on them. They are still in perfect working order, with only some scuffs and scratches from rock hits. The grip is great, I wear a flat Nike skate shoe with the pedals and my feet never slip out of place. For the price, this is a great buy.
