The battery appears to be working, it came very well packed in a wooden crate, and was wrapped in a seperate cardboard box as well, Fedex knocked the hell out of this thing during shipping, there was no visible damage to the crate, but when I opened it and removed the battery you can see the damage in the photos. I like the build quality of this battery and the fact that it survived the Fedex delivery. Time will tell if the battery is functioning properly, but all indications are it was not damaged, once my Inverter gets here I will update this review. The folks at Expert Power have been great so far.

I bought three batteries and the 6.5 kw inverter. It seems like a decent product but there is no support. The instructions were not even for what I bought. I’ve called and emailed but no one there to answer the phone. Mail box is full also.I would consider buying from someone else. Before you buy anything, call first to see if anyone even answers.Update….. after I was able to contact them, they were very helpful. They answered all of my questions. Turns out, one of my batteries is bad. They provided a return shipping label and I should get a replacement battery in a couple of weeks.All in all, I changed my stars from two to five based on the support after talking with them.

Batteries arrived three weeks from purchase. The wooden crates were undamaged, but the batteries were banged up pretty bad. One of the rack ears was crushed and had to be removed. I was able to straighten is fairly well but it's definitely not straight and much of the paint came off.The chrome plated handles on the front of the batteries are all bent.I submitted a review to Amazon complete with photos, but the review never posted, so I am trying again without photos. The damage to my batteries is similar to what others have posted.I emailed the Expert Power support with photos, and requested replacement handles and one rack ear.They replied that I should verify that the batteries are working before they would send me any parts.I verified that the batteries seem to work correctly and emailed support again.Now they have gone silent and are not responding to my emails anymore.Also, the booklet that came with the batteries, while nicely done is not very complete. There isn't even a diagram on how to connect the included BMS cables.

I took a leap of faith and pre ordered this unit, first I was expecting this server rack battery to ship around Oct 25, So it was really nice to receive it way early. Shipping was fast and product came packaged excellent in a wooden crate with no damage, once I opened it came with a pair of 5 awg copper wire about 5ft in length with ring terminals for you to size and crimp yourself, a communication cable and manual. I was totally blown away from the features the ExpertPower 48V 100ah server rack battery has for the price, Display is awesome in showing you all the vital info like voltage, SOC, Temp etc, This also has a Main switch to turn off power, This system works perfect for my application, I also have a EG4 LL v2 server rack battery and If i would of come across the ExpertPower first I would of not bought the more expensive EG4 LL battery. These batteries have been running non stop for 5 days no issues so far. I've been running off grid for weeks now and with this additional server rack battery will help for those cloudy days with no sun.

These batteries are wonderful. I have a pair of these units wired in parallel. Each has about 100 cycles over three years, and they are still carrying me through 10-hour power outages.Also, ExpertPower's customer service is awesome. They were kind enough to give me documentation of the RS485 protocol implemented by the units. So monitoring is easy if you are comfortable writing code.Well done, guys. You build a good machine.

Shipping was fast! That was the best part.No product literature. No explanation of any of the ports on the front.None of the communication ports would connect to my computer, using their software.The Modbus software downloaded from the companies website is not in a language of this planet. Turns out they have both Chinese and English configurations loading together which apparently makes Martian.The battery went dead after only 5 hours. Running a very light load.For the amount of money being charged, you would think the Company here in the USA selling this, would have at least tried one of these out and had instructions on their website.

This unit is VERY HEAVY.... get a dolly, never had any issues. and we use it with solar assistant. along with a matching inverter. love it will get more! it has worked so well i got a 2nd 51.2v 100AH battey! there so reliable its crazy 0.0!!
