Installed these as air vents on my truck bed shell for when I sleep inside to minimize condensation and/or provide extra ventilation when running my propane heater. So far they've done well. They're not water-tight when closed but the only time they've leaked (lightly) is when I've washed my truck and had my pressure washer pass over them.

I used this for a custom vent in my chevelle and it worked perfectly for me.

Only good for venting or AC... DO NOT use for any HEAT!
Vents melted after first use within 5 minutes of turning on our heater. DO NOT purchase these for any heater applications or they will melt on you.Also the 60mm is only for the threaded diameter of the exterior vent port. The internal that connects to a hose is not 60mm and is misleading on the listing, so these will not fit any Esapar, Webasto or parking heater duct tubes.

Needs improvement, needs to be made of metal.
This vent will warp and become useless under Maximum heat settings.I do not recommend it. If it were made of metal it would be an excellent product.
