I’m a man, but not the sort with such a sensitive ego that I’m not going to wear a lanyard on my glasses for the sake of appearances. However, I’m not going to wear the little metal chain on my glasses like my elderly school librarian. When I’m driving, I need to switch out my glasses for shades. However, much to my chagrin, when I lean forward, my glasses always slip out of my shirt pocket and get dirty or scratched. This gray lanyard is effective at keeping my glasses off the floor and ground but close enough to swap out with my shades quickly. Since I wear my glasses most of the day, I prefer these alligator clips that are easily and quickly removed without having the type of lanyard that fits over the end of the legs of the glasses. Great product! A great fit for me!

Apparently we all reach a point when keeping track of eyeglasses is a challenge. This takes care of the problem.

If you have used the eyeglass lanyards with the rubbery connectors that always break and are looking for a product with more longevity then this is the product for you. The clips work great. The only negative to this style of lanyard is that the clips get caught in your hair when taking your glasses off. OUCH!! Also if your glasses have large or tall arms the clips may not close around the entire arm.

I needed to find an eyeglass chain that had something better and more secure than those goofy little rubbery loops that only secure your eyeglass arms for a brief period of time before the rubbery loop gets stretched out and useless, other than for your glasses to fall from around your neck. I LOOOOVE THIS eyeglass chain with CLIPS. YEP. CLIPS! No rubbery loops. These claw type clips are strong and have stayed tight on my glasses for almost a month and show no signs of loosening or wear and tear. The clips are perfect for eyewear with wider/ thicker arms. The chain is also very stylish. Best eyeglass chain ever.

After losing or misplacing several pairs of glasses, I bought one of these holders. I found the holder so great, I ordered a second one! They are solid and rather attractive. They hold the glasses securely, and can take some, unintended abuse. I’ve accidentally gotten the chain caught on a corner of a desk and pulled back; they released one side of the glasses, but held tightly and didn’t break. I love that the glasses are always with me and ready to wear whenever I need them. Great upgrade compared to others I had in the past.

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS EYEGLASS CHAIN”!!! I just received it yesterday and find it extraordinary in how it functions and looks. The clips on the end of the chain do something that ordinary eyeglass holders never do. They work! There is no little rubber ring you have to be constantly tightening by pushing it up and eventually breaks. Those are also not attractive! Ordinary holders ones are usually a cord or leather, sometimes necklace chain. I’ve had them all but no more! I don’t want to look like I belong on the beach or skateboarding (nothing wrong with that but not all the time) if I’m doing business or just being at home. The chain is attractive, subtle enough to wear with anything and will NOT BREAK”! I’m going to order 2 or 3 more now. Have to have a spare in the car and my purse! If you are considering it, buy it. You won’t be sorry!

This is the only product I have found that reliably keeps my reading glasses from falling off the cord. I have now purchased 3 at various times

I like using the strings with clasps because, if pulled, I'd rather the clasp came off than the string break. So, I've used dozens of these strands with clasps, and when one eventually dies, it's usually because the clasp breaks from the string. I love this string because, unlike most metal straps, does not get tangled in my hair. But alas, the metal clasp easily detaches from the eyeglass leg.
