Ground Almonds or Almond Flour. It's the same
This is really good almond flour/ground almonds for use in all sorts of dishes. I love to use almond flour in baking, part replacing wheat flour in many recipes, including pastry and sponges. It adds depth of flavour and texture. The fact that it is Sicilian just makes me think of lovely hot Italian summers when I am baking. If you bake a lot then it is worth buying this in quantity. I simply cut through the plastic vacuum packet top with scissors and then fold over and use elastic bands to keep it sealed. Obviously it will keep in a container if that is what you like, but I recommend keeping as much air out as possible to keep it fresh. It has very good keeping quality but it gets continual use in our household, so that's not such an issue. Better value than small packets in supermarkets.

Good taste, quite finely ground, suitable for marzipan
We mainly use almond flour for two purposes: marzipan and Nancy's Macaroons (as Macarons de Nancy are called locally), hence we need very finely ground almonds for the marzipan, and any reasonable grind for other uses. This is advertised as finely ground, and we found (two packs bought at an interval of some months) that approximately 80% of the grains pass our marzipan test (<0.8 mm grain size), as opposed to about 50% in Chandra's corresponding product. The flour is vacuum packed, so it tends to be lumpy on receipt, and also a bit humid; hence, it needs pre-processing before being sifted, manually or in a food processor. Dehydrating it for a few hours at about 55°C makes it less sticky.

Good Quality
Nice quality almond meal, it has a dampness that alot of almond meal doesn't have and makes nice cakes and scones etc.

Made with Avola almonds - the very best.
Fresh and 100% natural. The taste is superior, unsurprisingly, as Avola almonds are considered the world's best - naturally grown in the Avola region, with no pesticides or enhancements permitted by Italian legislation, and no mass plantations that destroy habitats and kill bees (as in the U.S., the largest almond producer in the world). As for price, ground almonds in supermarkets cost more per 100g. I know because I check prices all the time, as I'm a KETO/Low Carb recipe developer and blogger, using vast quantities of almond flour and ground almonds/meal (not the same - despite what people say). The only negative? The label is incorrect - carb content cannot possibly be 3 times higher than all other ground almonds. I reckon the mistake is due to the fibre content which should be deducted from the carb value in accordance with European food label law.Do I recommend this product? Absolutely. I wouldn't buy anything else! And no, I don't receive any incentives for my reviews of Keto-suitable products that I'm happy with.* Image is of my Keto Mini Bundt Cakes made with Veggy-Duck Sicilian Ground Almonds

Quality almond flour
This organic almond flour is brilliant for baking - it is very fine and a good substitute for wheat flour for gluten free baking. It is a bit more expensive than other brands but I am willing to pay a bit more for non-USA almonds where millions of bees are killed by pesticides in the vast almond industry of the USA.
