Gourmet Chestnut spread from France Vanilla 17.5 oz (PACK OF 3)

I have used this product for several years during the holidays especially. I bake a fabulous Yule Log using the Chestnut Puree (with other ingredients) as the filing for the log, frost it with a silky-smooth French Buttercream and decorate. It truly makes a fabulous presentation. I also make a chocolate chestnut pate for my butter cookies, absolutely can't stay away from them. Thank heavens I only make these for Christmas.

I've had heavenly chestnut preserves (e.g., St Dalfours) elsewhere before. Although the flavor of this product is very good, I found it rather too sugary for my taste. In other words, I'd like it to be smoother.

We love Chestnut Spread and order it every year and have always been pleased except for this year. We were very surprised to open the plastic wrapping to find that one of the cans was broken open and the other cans were all dented. We would very much appreciate the replacement of at least the one can that was broken open. Thanks.

I love it. The past tastes full of sweet chest nut that is good with toast & waffles.The provider packed those cans with a good padding. The cans made with very thin metal, but they didn't have any indentation. Thank you for caring your merchandise.

Looooove it. With whipped cream. Can't buy it where I live. Only the cooking paste.

I have not purchased this for over 3 decades, and oh wow the difference. This is mostly syrup/sugar with a lot less chestnut in the formula. Use a lot less sugar in your cake or batter recipe unless you are shooting for diabetes...

The product itself is great, as is the brand – but I interpreted "17.5oz pack of 3" – as three cans *each* of which is 17.5oz. Instead, each can is only 8.75oz. So the advertising is misleading. Keep in mind that the product is not eligible for a return.
