Q: Looks like some of the sets do not come with windows or dorrs. Is that correct?

Correct. Some sets do not include window frames. The 2 mini house sets do not come with window frames, however we are adding a new mini village set which will include window frames (will be added today). The new mini set with window frames is called "Mini Village Houses with Church - Set of 6 Putz Style Cardboard Houses".

Q: Recommendations for gluing on the window frames?

I have has no trouble just using regular white glue. One thing, though, is to paint the window frame first before gluing it to the house.
