The smell was amazing. It filled the bathroom but I had to use two tablets..I wouldn't say it helped me sleep or help me relax me enough to sleep but the aroma was nice. All these shower things are so expensive and it stinks that it might not help you the way you want it to. I have terrible insomnia and looking for anything and everything to help me so if you are the same way just skip over these

I ordered the Vicks PURE Zzzs, Shower Mist Tablet, Lavender Aromatherapy Essential Oil, Soothe Before Sleep to try, as I've recently switched my showers from morning to evening, due to staying home to work, and doing my run or workout more towards the early evening time. I have only used one shower bomb in the past by another company, and it was a real treat.With the pack of 4, there are 4 boxes with three individually wrapped tablets in each box. I could smell the lavender through the boxes when I first unpackaged these from the shipping box. The tablets were all intact without any being crumbled or broken at all.To use, these have to be placed on the shower floor, where they gradually dissolve. Unlike a bath bomb which is gone within seconds, these tablets really take quite a long time to dissolve. One tablet lasted pretty much the entire duration of my (long) shower. I was able to detect the lavender scent, but it wasn't overpowering, which is really critical to me, since very strong scents will give me a headache. To give you an idea of how strongly these smell when used in the shower, I was able to smell my scented products (like shampoo for example) over top of the lavender. The smell of the shower tablet was not noticeable when I was lathering up other scented products. However, when rinsing my hair or not using any other soap or body wash, I was definitely able to detect the lavender scent. I have a shower that is fully enclosed with glass doors, and when my husband opened up the door to talk to me, he was able to smell the lavender very easily. I think maybe throughout the course of my shower, I got used to the smell and didn't notice it as much as I had initially. Keep in mind, these are supposed to be gentle. These are NOT like some sort of Eucalyptus shower tablet meant to clear sinuses when you have a cold. That's not what this is. It's just a nice background treat to release a bit of essential oil during an evening shower.The one thing to be careful of is that these tablets can leave the floor a bit slippery in areas where they've just been. The first time I used this product, I moved the tablet around a bit to see if I could find a spot where it would dissolve faster or smell more strongly, and in the areas where it had just been sitting, the shower floor was very slippery for a brief period of time until the product residue had rinsed away. I ended up feeling safer keeping it a bit closer to the drain so that it wouldn't make the surface slippery.These tablets are really clean to use, don't leave behind any mess provided you allow them the time to fully dissolve, and they easily last for a full 15-20 minutes before they're gone. I think that if you're looking for a gentle treat to add to your evening routine, this is definitely a worthwhile purchase.

This product is okay. It needs to sit somewhere that water kind of hits, not directly. And it also needs to be elevated for it to really smell good and work. A basic stand up shower wouldn’t work in my opinion. The scent also burned my eyes

I got this since I have a hard time powering down at night more of my brain shutting down since I battle anxiety most nights. I have tried another prodcut from this line which was a pain reliever/sleep meds and that def works well too so when I seen this I thought I would try this out to see if this would have some of the same effect minus the pain meds of course. I will say packaging wise I think there can be some improvement on that part since I have no idea what the package was covered in since each tablet is enclosed in its own package. Other than that it was simple enough to remove and place in the shower. I turned the shower on and threw it in there while the water ran and I got ready to get in and once I got in I noticed it was already half gone so note that maybe not put it in till your in the shower but the smell is def strong and takes up the whole bathroom so I know it was working even before getting in the shower. Once I was in there it probably lasted a few more mins before it was completely gone so I would say from the moment of it hitting the floor to dissolve it lasted about 10 mins if that. I will say thou I spent the entire time in the shower smelling the fumes that it leaves behind almost like a vicks when you put it on your chest but lavendar not that vicks smell. After showering it was a matter of mins before I could feel the effects of the tablet I think I lasted maybe 20-30 mins after one done with my routine and laying in bed a few mins my eyes started to feel heavy and I was def feeling groggy. I from there drifted to sleep with no problem and stayed sleep for a few hours before waking to exchange goodnights with my husband before drifting back off for the remaining of the night. Overall I will def say this line def works from what I have tried so far I will def give them that I just hope maybe they work on the packaging as stated before so that the boxes arent covered in stuff.

I love lavender and I have several varieties growing in my yard, so when I saw these lavender shower mist tablets from the trusted brand of Vicks I was excited to try them! When they arrived, I could tell which box they were in because you could smell the lavender through the shipping box and everything inside the box with it was scented. Good thing it was just clothing and nothing food related! These smell wonderful, but they are strong, so if you are not a die hard lavender lover like myself, beware! And it's a lovely natural lavender, not a fake chemical smell which I appreciate. They dissolved easily, I put it on the drain side of the tub, there is essential oil in the tabs, so be mindful they might make the tub slippery so older folks or young kids should be extra careful. They are large, about the size of a silver dollar and almost a 1/2 inch thick, but it fully dissolved in a hot shower. Perhaps my favorite use for these tablets is as a scented drawer sachet! I put them in my linen closet next to the bathroom and now all my towels and sheets smell like an English cottage garden! I love it! Now I keep a tab in my underwear drawer, my sock drawer, with my dish towels, you name it! If you love lavender, these will make you happy!
