I did have issues getting the guard molded to my teeth - I found the instructions were not as accurate as I’d hoped. I followed the video religiously but couldn’t see any sign of the mold ‘curling’ at the edges and pulled it out of the hot water too late, resulting in a soggy mess! After wrecking 2 blanks, I contacted customer support & they gave me some extra ‘tips’, one of which was instrumental in it working the next attempt. They said to leave it 1-2 minutes after putting boiling water into the container before dropping in the blank or it would be too hot and I hadn’t done that - the video had put the blank in much sooner than that! I also worked out that ‘sucking’ the air out of the blank when you put it in your mouth as suggested in the video for me had to be done carefully and gently! When I did it enthusiastically, it pulled the blank away from my teeth and ruined the new guard. So I wished those two tips had been in the video!However, I cannot fault the customer support… someone responded to my Facebook messenger message within minutes and went through the extra tips with me before I tried again while they waited to make sure it was working. They were super attentive and very helpful and were probably the best customer support I’ve found anywhere. They also arranged for the blanks I had ruined to be promptly replaced.The guard itself was excellent for teeth grinding! It stayed in all night, was comfortable and uninstrusive (especially after I trimmed a bit of the extra material from around the top of the toothline as suggested & explained by customer support). I was very surprised at the good fit and quality for such a relatively cheap price (compared to my dentists!) I can’t speak to durability as I’ve only been using it a few days but so far it seems good, despite being a serious teeth grinder, and I haven’t used the thicker version yet.I had a bit less success trying it for bleaching as it doesn’t have a reservoir for the bleach so I found the bleach mostly squeezed out of the top of the guard though it did still have a slight effect on the colour so some of it must have stayed put. I will 100% use these for teeth grinding but will probably fork out for a dentist made one for bleaching. But for teeth grinding I’m giving it a full 5 stars for the brilliant customer support and how well it works for grinding when you mold the guard properly! The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the customer service request for a 5-star review after helping me - I was going to write one anyway as I was very happy with it for teeth grinding, but I don’t like to be asked to even though I’m sure it’s probably standard…

I am so impressed with The ConfiDental and their mouth guard. Not only is the product of great quality, but the instructions are extremely thorough and detailed. Not only that, you are directed to watch a video tutorial to help too, and additionally you are contacted by the amazing support team. I have to give a shout out to Liam who was so warm, friendly and helpful as I figured out how to get my mouth guard just right. He was super attentive and I couldn’t have asked for a more helpful person! The mouthguard itself is incredibly comfortable and I felt instant relief from my clenched jaw and teeth grinding. I am incredibly impressed all round with this brilliant product as well as the company and their fantastic support team - excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend!!

I bought this because over the last month I've suddenly gained the habit of clenching my teeth in my sleep which resulted in headaches and sore gums in the mornings.Upon receiving the product I immediately followed the instructions on the leaflet and was greeted by customer service member Liam.Liam went above and beyond to help me correctly mould it so that it fitted well and comfortably, even checking in the following day to see how I'd got on my first night using it.With his help and the video provided, the process of moulding the guard was quick and easy to do.The first night I wore it, it took a little while to fall asleep owing to the strangeness of it.It was not uncomfortable, just unusual for me.But come morning I woke for the first time in weeks with no headache and no sore gums.Absolutely wish I'd invested sooner. It's effectiveness cannot be understated for me.I also want to add that the guard is reusable and really easy to clean. It even comes with a small case to store it during the day.So if like me you have issues with grinding or clenching your teeth in your sleep, give these a try.Worth every penny.

I grind and clench my teeth at night and had a dentist fitted guard many many years ago as a teenager. I recently paid a lot to have a crown fitted and ended up in severe pain from grinding at night after the crown had only been in for a few weeks. A dentist fitted guard was far too expensive an option to consider now but I needed something to stop me doing more damage to the crown so thought I'd give these a go!I watched the instructional video carefully and read a few of the reviews before trying to mould the first guard. Although it says it's not necessary, I used a thermometer to check the temp of the water and just left the guard in for a very short time rather than relying on me deciding when I thought the edges had started to turn in as this really wasn't overly noticeable. This seemed to really help and the end result was good.The guard fitted well after the first attempt. It's obviously not as great as the dentist one but was a tiny fraction of the price.It has stopped me doing any more damage and I haven't had pain from grinding since I started using it.Sleeping with it in does take a little getting used to but after a few nights it didn't disturb me.I'd recommend these to anyone struggling with pain from grinding and clenching who wants a low cost solution.

Quick and easy to mould, use and clean. Comfy when moulded properly. Easy to follow instructional video.Handy to have somebody to message if you need any more info on the product, but Could do with less messages after the initial contact is over and you are using the guard just fine.
