I bought a set of these gates to keep my dogs in their designated area downstairs. I bought them extra tall since one of our dogs is a jumper and could make it over a standard 2-3ft gate. These were super easy to install and have held up incredibly well.

I bought one of these a few months ago to replace a different one that had broken. I use these gates to keep the dogs out of certain parts of the house when I need to. This one allows the gate to swing open either direction, which is an improvement over my last one. It also has a little built-in mechanism that props the "door" open, but it is spring-loaded so if you just tap it closed it will latch right into place. It also comes with little extension screws so it can fit most standard doorways, and an extension piece of bar if it's being placed in a wider doorway.I can't speak to how secure it would be with babies in the house because that's not my purpose for it, but it works wonderfully for my dogs!!

It was strong and tall gate. Great for large dogs who jump a small one. I bought another gate previously and it was so flimsy and dogs destroyed in a couple weeks. But this gate is strong and love the height. Recommend

Easy to put together and to install. My dog could always jump the smaller gates with ease, this gate is un-jumpable.

My dog weighs about 130 pounds, and when she throws tantrums she tends to scratch doors or anything that stands in her way. She has a lot of power behind her paws, and this gate that I installed (which I don't even think I did correctly) still hasn't budged and looks amazing. Perfect height as well. If I ever needed another gate, I would go with this brand again. Another note to add, is that it even came with an extra attachment for extra-wide doorways. I didn't use it, but that is extremely helpful to know and to have for the future.

My use for this is at the entrance way to my greenhouse. I can leave the door open for ventilation, but keep out the critters. Has proven to be perfect. and when the weather cools, it will be easy to remove it until next year. I actually have two minor complaints - one the end hardware is not fixed and so care must be taken to NOT lose them! and the actual opening is small, so if you are above average size as I am, or are carrying something, it might be a tight squeeze getting through.
