Woks great
Took a bit to get the brackets adjusted to line up with my wheels, installed on a 2017 Jeep JKU, used JScan to enable the rear camera option in the radio and everything worked great.

Nice camera, but a pain to install on the tire holder
Installed this on my son's '04 Jeep Liberty. Watched several YouTube videos on the installation, which helped a lot. Unfortunately, there are no vents on the rear door (unlike the Wranglers I saw in the videos), so had to drill a hole in the back to run the wire through. Drilled a 3/8" hold through the metal door behind the tire bracket and installed a rubber grommet in the hole to protect the wire. It actually came out looking pretty good and should be waterproof. However, the metal rings that come with it to lock it onto the tire bracket are not the right size and broke into pieces while trying to install it. As long as the spare tire stays in place, it's all good. However, it is a pain to reinstall any time the tire is removed.Overall, I'm very happy with the picture quality and it is nice and centered with this type of mount. If the 3 metal rings that are supposed to hold it onto the bracket had been higher quality and actually worked, I would give it five stars.

Good Product. One major Flaw
Got it fast. Finally got around to installing it in my 2008 Jeep Wrangler 4 door using the factory stereo/Head unit. (along with a subwoofer kit and some other electronic upgrades/mods).Bottom line: Works as advertised.Plenty of cord. Picture quality is "meh". But that's almost certainly more to do with my 12 yr old factory radio screen than the camera. Getting the spare on and off without damaging it requires some finesse. I'm going to revisit the mounting configuration on that. I used the long bracket and its just too long. The camera sticks out too much. ...or I WOULD! You see, there is one major flaw. The Steel bracket that the camera mounts to is finee. But the housing/bracket that the camera itself is inserted into is plastic. And that plastic camera is mounted to the metal bracket by 2 tiny little screws. And I mean tiny. The threads aren't aggressive at all and the holes in the plastic to mount them are loose. What I'm getting at is the whole product is great until the camera falls off the bracket because the itsy bitsy screws don't tighten up or hold it secure. Mine is held on with duct tape and shrink wrap. Not exactly clean install.I'd return it but I'm not taking the Jeep apart to undo the wiring and package it up. It works fine but this chain has a major weak link.

It died on me after less than 2 years
Bought this in August of 2020 and today 7/24/2022 it died on me. I would have liked it if this lasted longer than under 2 years. Taking my big jeep tire off and changing it is going to be a pain. Not looking forward to it.

Installed on a 09 Jeep JK, with 37inch tires
The camera provides a very good and shape image, just have to keep the lens clean. Ha it's on a jeep and it get dirty :-) The camera has a very wide field of view and with 17inch rims it shows a bit of the rim on the top of the screen. You could ext the camera out more with the included hardware, but then you could hit the camera/mount when removing or replacing the spare tire.

2016 Jeep Wrangler Install, works great!
Camera works as it should, relatively easy to install. The only caution I would give is to make sure you program your Jeep for the camera. I did my research before installation and bought an inexpensive OBD scanner on here to go with it and it worked flawlessly. Great product for the money and easy install!

If you want something that will last a year
This camera lasted exactly one year. The picture quality was good. It wasn’t bad to install, just time consuming. Then just one day it stopped working and apparently there is no warranty. So if you want a cheap camera that lasts a year then this is the one to get.

Good Camera
Good camera. Would suggest splicing wires instead of using provided connectors. Comes with 2 very similar inputs for the back of radio, both may fit but only one will work.

Doesn't work, no customer service
The instructions were lacking, but after reading them and watching many YouTube videos I was able to install things correctly.I used an OBD2 device (Vgate Icar pro BLE 4.0) and the Jscan app and was able to flash my factory radio. The device has power as confirmed by a black screen with "Check Your Surroundings" appearing whenever I go into reverse (manual transmission 2018 Jeep JKU).I have tried both included wire harnesses for the radio and made the connections using the included Scotch Lock wire connectors.Nothing I do is able to get it to work.I then sent an email as per the EWAY website, but am still waiting for a reply days later.Their website also has a phone number with the area code 707 but when I call the it's disconnected.Save yourself the hassle and buy a different unit.Avoid this one.

Great back up camera
Works great. Followed YouTube on how to run the wires to radio. Then tapped into the reverse tail lights.
