I find this extremely tacky upon application - is that how the consistency is supposed to be?

You have to put it on really quickly or it does seem to thicken up and get tacky. I do you love this product it really works I can only use it once a week or every two weeks

There is no scent. Since it is for the face it is fine for a man to use it.

Can i use this with the ultra hydra-firm sleeping cream?

I would say yes, it is a fairy mild serum. I would wait about 5 minutes though so you don’t dilute the ingredients.
