Q: Does this come with both cups/lids? I don't see that clarification.

Mine came with two cups and two lids

Q: My old Vitamix only says 5000 Series. Will this work?

I am not sure. I could not find anything on the Vitamix website about a 5000 Series. They say: For use with Vitamix Legacy Series machines only: 5200, 5300, 6300, 6500, 7500, 780, Aspire Series, Creations Series, Professional Series, Total Nutrition Center, TurboBlend Series. Not compatible with Vitamix Ascent™ Series machines.

Q: Does this work with the 300pro series?

It works poorly. It is not worth purchasing. It blend badly.
