Wiha26193 Slotted and Phillips Screwdriver Set with Soft PicoFinish Handle, 8-Piece

I bought these while looking for a set of very high quality precision screwdrivers. These screwdrivers are certainly nice and work well. However, the higher quality has yet to justify the much, much higher price. I did specifically pay more to have the pico finish which wasn't as great a feature for me as I thought it would be. If you make your livelihood repairing electronics then the price might be justified. If you're simply a DIY person looking for a decent precision screwdriver set then I'd recommend looking at different brands or at the very least not ponying up for the pico finish.Edit: I've been using these for varies projects over the last year now. Having spent more time with these screwdrivers and seeing how well they hold up, I've been quite impressed. The finish has grown on me and provides a great grip and comfortable hold. After forgetting about the high price (buy once, cry once) I'd definitely recommend these to others who value high quality tools.

Have not used yet-that will be the real test, that and how they hold up over time. On initial imspection, the entire set appears very high quality with hardened steel working heads. I expect good performance and durability based on what i see so far, and the price cant be beat (i got them "used" but they look brand new). Got for around half the "new" price.

They're not cheap like those little crappy plastic case screwdriver kits you can buy, but these sure are amazingly made screwdrivers! Their fit and finish it tops.My only gripe is that the case doesn't roll up closed. You fold it in half to have the Velcro line up to secure it. If they put another strip so you could either roll it or fold it, that would be great. Really, it's no issue to detract stars though.

These screwdrivers are designed and actually produced in Germany, unlike many other "German" tool brands selling similar products. I have the following thoughts and observations:1) All markings on handles are consistent. Some reviewers have complained of a mix of black and grey markings, but new production seems to be all grey.2) Spinner caps wiggle around until there is downward pressure on them, at which point they spin very smoothly.3) The Picofinish is well worth the small premium over the standard drivers. They help prevent slipping if your hands are sweaty or greasy from working.4) Picofinish drivers have tip and size markings on the end caps, unlike the standard line, which is great if you are using a bench stand.5) All 8 screwdrivers I received had straight and centered blades.6) Pouch folds in half and does not roll up. I prefer this due to shallow drawer depth.This was my first Wiha order and will certainly not be my last. I will be ordering their pentalobe set next for dissassembling apple products. I highly recommend this professional grade tool, especially at such a reasonable price.

These had the ripe stench of cancer that I think was caused from the cheap pouch.I set them outside in and let them off- gas for a week off and on and it helped a ton.The screwdrivers are great! I love all my Wihas. Great for what you pay for them. Top shelf German quality.

These are the best.After trying Moody, Wera and Whia orginal, these turned out to be the best. The soft PicoFinish is where its at. I tried the set on many screws but these are the best on stubborn screws. Lots of grip and the bulge near the tip really helps with stubborn screws.The originals don't have the rubber coating so if its summer you have to press the drivers hard so not slip. The only downside is that it does not come with a size #000 in Phillips. I will have to buy that extra for about $10.

Screwdrivers are high quality and really well made. I would give this product a higher rating but the pouch they come in is very unwieldy. I had expected a small tool pouch that could be rolled and carried easily. Unfortunately these come in a pouch which can only be folded in half and the pouch itself is way larger than it needs to be.

Smooth action and well made, to me they cant be beat
