These are very cheap, but that's what you need when starting out or experimenting. They work very well on polyurethane castings and can be used to shape putty and even bondo. These tools are cheap enough that you can use a grinder to sharpen them and modify them slightly if you need to, like sharpening the half round edges so they work better on polyurethane and plaster of paris.

Great set! My 12yo uses them often and they've withstood a few months of use so far.

Disappointed in these tools, they’re clutzy and dull.To their credit, they at least adequately made in terms of the metal tool ends are firm in the wooden handles. Just not real sharp so can drag the clay instead of making crisp marks. Good for older kids just beginning to sculpt.

My teenage daughter is using them for a hobby and has no complaints, states they work well
