saves all that bother of cutting up home grown herbs into tiny pieces. I I put in a few leaves and close the basket. It takes a fair few leaves and the shape off it means the basket is fully covered. There is a little chain to hang it off the side of the pan, but I told it off and just lift the basket out with a spoon. The herbs infuse very well

Just what I expected but the clip to hold the infuser together is very fragile

Not very robust so time will tell how it lasts, but importantly it must be hand washed which will be a pain when it's been in soup or a casserole. This information not provided in product description as far as I could see.
