Absolutely worth the money
We moved into our current home and the railings left something to be desired... Primarily, they desired screws, anchors, stability, and less of a lawsuit waiting to happen. Following removal and scrapping of those messes, we were not really sure what to re-install, but I wanted something that would anchor to more than drywall (because, you know, stability...). I found these and my wife approved (bonus points). We liked the modern design, the turned-in ins (because, you know, code nowadays), and the sleek appearance. So we bought 1, and I installed it, and we immediately bought 5 more (3 foot and 4 foot spans). We love them, and so do the walls.Unlike the prior ones, these are mounted into the studs of the wall (so, you know, stability). This did prove a bit of a challenge as I believe the builder of our house was high when he/she designed the walls. But nonetheless I was able to get it done. The instructions help, and coming with all the parts plus drill bit really helps.I would suggest, personally, that you pre-drill the holes in the bottom of the rail that mount the rail to the wall anchors (see the close-up picture). Although the screws provided are self-tapping, I found it difficult to apply enough pressure, at the right angle, upside down, without the rail slipping (but that could be just me). So a little pilot hole made the job 10x easier. Similarly, a piece of painter's tape on the bottom of the rail helped keep it from sliding around when I was centering it on the wall and marking for those pilot holes.Bonus points for made in the USA - nothing broke during installation!

Sleek and sturdy modern railings
Ignore the fact that things are still unfinished in my home. I had to stop and take the time to write this review about my hand rails.I ordered two of these (one for upstairs and one for downstairs) and both of my parents keep commenting how sturdy these railings feel. They are made of some kind of metal and are smooth and cool to the touch. They are easy to hold (even with someone who has small hands like me) and easy to wipe down as all the dust is quick to come off with the wipe of a hand or a towel. These two railings took maybe 20 minutes to get in place. Most of the time was spent by me choosing the correct height for the railing to sit at but installation was simple. The railing would definitely be able to support anyone who was unstable while using the stairs and could put significant weight onto the railing for support.

AMAZING handrails...
These handrails are excellent quality and very sturdy. We installed a short one and a long one and both are very good. We are super happy with them.

Generally a reasonable upgrade for a modest home
We'd been pondering upgrading older wood handrails in our home for some time after seeing some appealing black iron handrails while on a model home tour. We first explored purchasing that exact product with the local fabricator, but were taken aback at the cost, ($1K+ for two simple handrails, 6' & 7.5' length). I shopped online a bit and decided to try this product after seeing the preponderance of positive reviews.Overall, I'd give the quality about a B. The handrails were well packaged in two long cardboard tubes and arrived in good order. I contracted with a local handyman to handle the project for us. (The removal of the older handrails and install of the replacements took about 2 hours and 15 minutes for the full job to be completed). The new black handrails definitely look more attractive and contemporary, versus our dated, round wood handrails. While the product is of a good quality overall, it nonetheless does appear and feel more lightweight and "low-budget," versus the more substantial iron product that we had seen locally. It's also a wee bit shinier than I'd prefer, but that's just a personal bias.Do be aware that the 6' length is the longest single section you can purchase. For longer length applications, you'll get two separate adjoining handrails. I found that the two sections on our longer stairwell fit together reasonably well, so that shouldn't be a stumbling block for most homeowners. The bottom line is that this product is a generally good option for homeowners who are looking for a modest upgrade at a fair price point. If, however, you value style over function and reside in a higher end home, you might explore possible alternatives that are both visually and structurally more substantial and more decorative. For more modest homes, that are valued at <$500K, these handrails will be generally acceptable for the majority of less discriminating folks.

Perfect Solution!
These handrails are excellent. I ordered three different sizes for my internal staircase. The products came very well packed in heavy, hard tubes, so no damage is likely unless the tubes get crushed. Installation went well, but it does require 2 people, especially for the longer runs. One I ordered too small, so I sent it back and ordered a longer one. The return was easy and free. It looks great! No issues with the join in the long one as others have stated. I do recommend pre-drilling the holes for the underside of the railing because it's just too difficult to screw in the self-tapping screws from underneath.

Nice, sturdy hand rail
We needed just a 4' section for our indoor stairs. This was perfect since the brackets were separate and could be aligned with the wall studs, and then the rail attached, vs the one pc construction. It was installed easily and is very sturdy and comfortable to use going up or down. The ends go around and meet the wall, so easy "hook" to grab on to. The flat black rail is a nice classic look.
