Remarkable Shovel / Built Like a Tank
I wanted to get a shovel to replace an old shovel whose handle finally cracked. So I did various internet searches and found hundreds of shovels from hundreds of companies. Then I read this Bully shovel is made in the USA (note that most shovels are not), so I decide to give it a shot.I was shocked when this shovel arrived on how well made it is. I ordered the 92510 Super Heavy Duty shovel model and it comes with a massive amount of steel. But better than that, it has an additional thick steel weld strip on the back to help guard against the shovel head cracking under extreme lift or leverage. I know I use my shovel to lever up a large root or rock all the time, so this extra steel is important to me.This shovel is built like a tank because every area of potential cracking or failure is reinforced, such as the back of the shovel head.Using this shovel has been fine and it works as obviously as one would expect a shovel to operate. Hard to mess up shoveling, but I do feel the blade on this shovel helps me cut through earth and roots easier than my old shovel. Hard to compare because the blade on this shovel is, of course, new and sharp.I expect this shovel to last years easily, perhaps decades. The handle is fiberglass which I am looking forward to since my old wood handle shovels could leave splinters as they aged.A solid purchase and I highly recommend this Bully shovel. Made in the USA definitely equals quality for this product and that's a nice plus.

Very solid product...
I mainly purchased this brand due to it's great reviews. What sets this item apart is the thick coating, protecting the wooden shaft, that when exposed to the elements, can start to degrade, and begin to splinter. Either way, outdoor tools like this will last a lot longer when kept indoors, as opposed to a shed, where there is still exposure to humidity.

USA Made - Great Quality
I really like this shovel. After I broke a Home Depot Razor Back brand shovel I was looking for something strong that will hold up. I can really put my boot on the top of this one and put my full weight into it and no flex in the blade occurs at all. The handle for sure will break before any of the metal or welds on the blade will in my opinion, so being mindful of how hard I'm cranking on the handle and it'll last a very very long time. The only thing I feel as though this shovel is missing is a slightly sharpened edge. Out of the box the shovel has a squared edge on the bottom which doesn't dig well in harder soils. I am going to take my grinder to it to slightly sharpen it so it digs better. That's the only thing I would change about this. Aside from that, I'm glad I purchased it.

Really great quality, made in the USA
Made in the USA, super heavy duty. It's heavier than I'm used to, but it did great digging out some dead bushes that likely would have broken a lighter duty model.

Very solid!
I was looking for a sturdy shovel, and I always look for Made in USA. This fits the bill on both counts. It's built like a tank.I checked every local hardware store, and not a decent shovel to be found. Eleven varieties of Ames True Temper, a few off brands, a few store brands. A few had decent handles, but every single one without exception had soft, thin, cheap imported steel (in a few cases "tempered in USA") guaranteed to bend or break under any strenuous work.Where I come from, the ground is filled with rocks. A shovel takes a beating digging even a modest hole. You have to be able to stand on the foot braces and jump up and down, and scrape and auger and pound. Cheap junk won't cut it.This Bully Tools shovel has as solid construction as I have ever seen in a shovel. Pound on the blade, and it gives that distinctive deep thud you'd associate with a whack from a cast iron pan. Very nice. Heartily recommended.

Bully Tools are the best!
The Bully shovel is made in America and is a heavy duty tool. I have used it to dig, to spread mulch and to pry up stone blocks that sank into the ground years ago. It is very well made, far superior to shovels from a big box store. It also has a nice wide flange for your foot to push on for digging. I also bought the Bully 12 gauge cap rock shovel last year and the same comments apply to it as well. The cap rock shovel is for cutting through roots and heavy prying. A terrific American product. You will not be disappointed!
