Youtuber's need to be more thorough...
Like many of you, I seek out the advice (or lack there of) of some of our favorite YouTube collectors. The problem is they don't always do a good job in reviewing their figures. It seemed that the general consensus in the SHF community was that Piccolo 2.0 was a disappointment from the first version (myself included). However, for the reduced price, I had to see it for myself. This by far exceeded my expectations. I may have received a figure from the good batch because some of the complaints (minus the red lips among others) are not apparent on my figure. One of the reasons holding me back was the glossy legs. Not on my pair, or at least ever so slighlty on the right side of the right leg. The shoes are also not as shiny as most and have a nice matte finish.Leg articulation is great with kness going past 90°. Nice and smooth joints as well. Side and front splits are not a problem.Paint application is spot on with only two mold injection residue marks on the sides of the cape (not a deal breaker by any means).Head sculpts are fantastic. Yes, the turbinless, stoic head is a closer representation of the Dragon Ball Piccolo, but it is not as noticeable in person. And yes, the red lips are still a thing, however, I won't be removing it. Although nail polish remover on a q-tip will do the job quickly, just be careful. Use very little and avoid contaminating the eyes. Again, do it at your own risk!!Accessories are plentiful with a nice array of carefully sculpted and painted hands (nails are painted in a glossy white, nice contrast to the matte green... Although may look a little feminine to some).Overall, an 8.5/10. I was going in expecting a 6/10 or even 5/10. However in hand, this figure is truly awesome despite the cons (listed below)!Cons:- Red lips.- Inconsistent finish between figures (not a problem with mine, but perhaps others)- No special beam cannon effect piece.- Still a hair too short.- Strange abdomen crunch (if over articulated backward).- Ugly butterfly joints (yeah, I think Bandai was counting on people posing the figure with the weighted armor versus no armor. Not bad from the front, noticable from the sides and top view).Pros:- Very nice sculpt work throught the figure- Nice paint application where applicable- Good amount of accessories- Good sized box (for those of us into displaying the box; standard size with a little more depth than Android 21, less than SSJ3.- Smooth joints- Great articulationNot at all disappointed, I'm torn between a 4/5 stars and 5/5 star. I am very impressed with the figure, but it still had some "flaws" that could have been easily prevented... Literally leaving the lips unpainted like everyother figure.

One of the best DBZ figures to date
As the title states: best figure to date of DBZ.Articulation, design, sculpt, and detail are amazing. The leg articulation has vastly improved over ALL DBZ characters by Tamashii Nation. You can actually have him do a full split. Only compromise is there is visible gaps due to that fact. A small sacrifice. Shoulder articulation is outstanding as well. Again, you will have gaps visible due to the extensive maneuverability.Multiple head and hand sculpts, dramatic improvement of the cape design from the original release, and paint applications are impeccable. For a $65 figure you are getting what you pay for.The ONLY thing I wish he had is an effect piece. It would literally be one the best released 1/12th scale figure of 2021.A must buy for ANY collector or anyone getting into collecting figures in general.

Another Great Figure released in the Dragon ball line!
S.H. Figuarts Tamashii Nations Piccolo! This is definitely an upgrade from the 1.0 version and a must-have for a person who is deep into this line like I am haha. The articulation in his legs is one of the best from what I've seen in this line. The characters that are close to his leg articulation is super buu and gogeta. He comes with a lot of heads and a good amount of sets of hands. The only thing that I wish they gave him could have been a special beam cannon effect or some Ki effects but other than that, 10/10!

Excelente figura
La figura es espectacular, me encantó. Excelentes acabados y accesorios. Saludos.

Significant improvement over the original
I had originally passed on this guy since I owned the 1.0 and felt that the new piccolo was a weak release due to the paint being shiny and the face having what looked like lipstick, but I had decided to give him a shot regardless and I’m glad I did. The articulation is top notch and you can get him in a lot of dynamic poses. He is just so much larger than the original and really portrays the character more accurately than the original does. All in all I’d say this is the piccolo to get, and I would jump on him before he sells out and hits the aftermarket.
