This is the 2nd one, and the smallest, Weatherman that I've given as a gift. I gave my niece the next size larger who walks 4 miles to work in a city each day. She was so thrilled with it she sent me a video of her using it on her walk in the rain one day without a single flip inside out. So, my daughter, her cousin, requested it as she recently moved to NYC and has had multiple umbrellas flip inside out on her. Because she's in Manhattan and travelling narrow sidewalks with scaffolding, she needed the smallest size possible and says this one has been 100% perfect in the first week of use. She likes the reflective strips, the fact that it folds easily into her tote, and, of course, the fact that it has refused to flip inside out when slapped with a gust of wind between buildings. She is thrilled with it! Brand seems to be well worth the money.

Small as I wanted for easy portability. Seems well made. The auto open/close feature was a must for me for ease of exit/entrance to my vehicle. I didn't ding the rating on this, but it took like 3 weeks from order to receipt.

Great umbrella. Easy to use.

This is a well made umbrella that feels sturdy. You can feel how well it’s made in its heft. It’s lightweight and folds down easily. When extended it is the perfect size for one person. I carried this around all over Paris this holiday, and used it daily. It never failed to deploy and keep me dry. It is really strong in windy conditions. My daughter’s cheap no-name umbrella flipped inside out many times in the wind at Disneyland Paris. This umbrella held strong in those same conditions. It’s small and easily fits in the side pocket of my backpack. I will buy another for my wife and daughter for when then travel.

Love everything about this high quality product.

The umbrella feels solid and very resistant although I have not yet been able to test it in strong winds. It is compact without being tiny, almost enough for two people if they are close. The only problem is that it feels much heavier than it should for its size, probably due to its resistance, although that remains to be seen.

This got torn up in three days by the wind and rain on a hiking trip. Not a wise purchase.
