Leo
Best and easy grunt suit to build to this day. Would recommend for beginners getting into the hobby.

The best explosive mobile suit
Wonderful for army building! Good posing

Fun to build mostly
A few very stiff and stubborn pieces, but over all a good time to build.

Great for beginners
Easy to put together, not as many parts as a gundam.

Cool kit, great for army building, but could use an updated version
The joint between the hips and the torso is kinda loose, in fact it has a habit of falling out pretty regularly. There are also two panels (one on each outer thigh) that are extremely finicky to get in place, and you will almost be guaranteed to lose them if you don't get them in the first time.Really cool that there are no stickers needed to get the degree of accuracy that it does (in fact I would compare it to an entry grade if not for the finicky panels on the thighs and the fact that the one joint is so loose), and the accessories it comes with are also fun to work with even if they're few in number. That said, we're all guaranteed to be using the shoulder shield so the extra shoulder pad kinda feels like a spare part.I have it displayed with my HG Deathscythe and, well... Let's just say the Leo is about to have a very bad day from the Deathscythe.

Really disappointed in quality
Really bad quality. While the Leo was supposed to be a mass produced mobile suit in the show, that doesn't mean the model has to be.Some of my issues are:1) Very few points of articulation.Compared to the HG Heavyarms, in the second picture, this HG model is very stiff.2) No stickers.Very self explanatory. I'm actually not too upset about this, but it wouldn't have hurt to have SOMETHING!3) Only one set of hands.Again, compared to the Heavyarms next to it there is only one set of hands and it's in a grip position. They could have included a point, splay, or open position.4) Few parts. There are less than 100 pieces.5) Fragile. When trying to wiggle the beam saber handle out of the shield, the stud broke off.6) Ill fitting partsOn the ankle guards, the part doesn't really stay on the ball joint. It should have been modeled better.

Middling, but fun kit.
The build is fun, quick, and fairly simple. The end result is...lackluster. Articulation is more limited than your average HG kit, and you will likely have at least one hip joint that's loose and likely both ankle armors loose as well. You can overcome these with the common joint fixes, but that's true of all kits. The good ones don't need that.If you like the Leo, get it. If you just like really good kits, pass.
