Work great
Bought these for my wife per her instructions on what she would like after delivery for comfort. She ended up having an emergency c section, but still used them to hold up to her incision to help with pain and was happy with them.

IT HELPS TO KNOW YOUR ANATOMY. :-)
I would have been a better review if I new what Perineal meant before I bought them. :-) My bad. I ended up tearing them apart and just using the plastic enclosed cold pack. I wanted them for the back of my neck. After I brought them home my girfriend laughed hysterically as she explained to me their purpose. Live and learn. :-)

Junk Don't Bother
First the packaging is not as pictured, but that's not a big deal. I activated one it lasted for less than 10 minutes and did not get very cold. There is also way too much air in the package to make it useful. Active ingredient is ammonium nitrate. I have used several brands of cold packs including perineal cold packs. I prefer the shorter length, but what I got is useless as intended. The extra air and short life were not usefull.

Works well enough, but , there are better perianal products, right here on Amazon
These get cold instantly, but only stay truly cold for, maybe an hour....the other "perianal pads" on Amazon, work better, last longer and are cheaper. I would recommend those, just search "perianal pads". They are larger, so they would be hard to wear out of the house, but, if you are in immediate post-surgical pain, those "pink ones" work far better and do not threaten to leak on an already sensitive area....

worth it!
got these for postpartum they worked pretty well, they get a lot colder than the ones at the hospital, but they aren't absorbent, so you'll have to wear a pad underneath of the cold pack, they also don't last more than 10-15 minutes, but that being said, they were a life saver, and worked better than a regular cold pack.

great
great! helped a lot, shipped fast and really helped. Although the ice melted quit fast, but it could be due to the heat.
