Our daughter is 11.5 yrs. old and was very frustrated learning to skate! She always had rental skates.We thought it would be affordable winter exercise and fun! She decided she would love to have skates of her own. She was scared and uncomfortable learning but kept trying. I ordered these and what a difference it has made! She said they were so much better and easier than rental skates, She has so much more confidence,she has taken a private lesson for proper techniques for beginners, and is trying her hardest and skating her heart out! She is eager to learn to Jam skate.She is no longer scared and is having fun learning! Other parents have noticed her change and we have rec.highly these skates for them and their children!The cost is comparable to Walmart,Target,Toysrus,Sears,Meijer,ect. but these are such a better quality. They cost $20.00 more for the identical skate at the skating rink. She loves her new skates.If her foot grows larger,we will purchase these again! She also thinks the color is cool and so do her friends! The Chicago Ladies Bullet Skate has been a perfect choice for us and she is so proud of them! I like the fact that she wants to skate much more than sit and socialize now,although some of that can be fun too! They are a speed skate, very cute, comfortable, good quality and velcrow across the top,Come with wheel adjustment wrench,and she loves them! She refuses to skate without them now! They are a win win situation!!!!

Super comfy padding inside of them, very nice to wear for long skates. I heard some people having trouble with wheels, so i ordered another set just in case. Turns out, I didn’t really need to as these skates appear very sturdy.When you get them be sure to use the skate room provided to tighten the wheels. Look over the wheels and if anything seems sketchy or wrong RETURN THEM. YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT. They’re indoor/outdoor wheels. I recommend using them indoor if you want a smoother ride, though. However, I use them for street skating and so far they’ve held up very well. After two weeks, check the tightness of the wheels again to see their durability. Mine appear to still be in good condition.I used a sharpie and personalized them, but be careful if you do this because high-contact areas (heels, toes, straps, and tongue) are prone to rubbing off or smudging.HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE SKATES

I wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8. They are a tad roomy but I was hesitant to size down. Size wise, I am ok in the 8. One wheel kept jamming out of the box leading to some scares but that was worked out and they are performing fine. A couple of items to note...the shoe laces are 1,000 feet long. I am pretty sure they could be used in the limbo. Also, my feet look giant in them. GIANT. I have a 7 and 8 year old so they think it's hilarious. Me, not so much. It's like I am wearing a half gallon milk carton on my foot. Anyway, they are functional, price is right. Just a few aesthetic issues for me. Have fun!!!

These are cute and comfy great for the price

These are NOT speed skates or roller derby skates. Bearings are only ABEC-1, wheels are hard plastic, and the toe stop is hard plastic. The boot fit okay but was a bit big. And the shoestrings are a mile long and constantly caught on the Velcro strap. If you’re looking for a derby skate, stick with Riedells. Even the Epics had a faster ABEC rating. (ABEC rating 1- slowest and 8 - fastest)
