Never buy throw away filters again
This is a sturdy enough metal filter and the price is reasonable as well. I won't be buying the throw away filters again. It filters quite well but I have several cats so I also use cheap cut to fit rolls of carbon filtering to lay on top of it. All are very easy to fit into the return air closet.

these filter do not work in collecting dust
the return policy is unfair, you have to use the filter for a few months to know if the are getting dirty and working correctly, by the time you find out they did not work, as in my case they say the return period is past and you are stuck with a very expensive are filter that does not work as well as a cheap paper filter, would definitely not recommend this filter, buy the carbon material washable filters instead, a little more money, but at least they collect the dust, these didn't get dirty at all.

veru good filter
I just got this filter and just put it in. It came packaged very secure and I had no issues. It looks well made. It came on time. It is going to be great since I have had a terrible time getting filters this size when needed so this permanent one will be great.

Caution
Not going to give this air filter a bad rating, due to me not reading all the details. This filter is not for your everyday Hvac system, it only catches large particals. After two months use, i went to clean, and it looked brand new, no dirt or dust. Reading more about this filter, and it has a MERV rating or 1-4, pretty worthless for my needs. Hope this helps, $32 bucks down the drain..
