You wake up one day and life changing events result in an immobile / paraplegic family member. There isn’t a checklist of what to buy or why you need them. Nor is there someone reviewing what to do when you leave the hospital. This results in so much lack of knowledge or trial in error (and wasted money that you don’t have as well as time!). I hope this helps YOU!My family member recently became a paraplegic. After multiple trial and error wrong wheelchairs*, I came across one that works. The wheelchair needed anti tip device. These were perfect!They have an adjustable floor leg for various heights. Installation was super easy - I used a flat head screwdriver and removed the chair caps. Insert the non wheel end into the pipe fitting and push/turn until the pin adjust in. Once both are complete, you can adjust anti tip wheel height - if needed.* As your goal is to provide independence - FALLING is a HUGE deal so you must prevent (as much as possible) .

Safety works good

On a 16 inch wide seat type wheelchair I kept hitting them while pushing the wheelchair. They would work great on normal size wheelchair.

These did not fit the wheelchair my husband uses so I had to return and order from a local vendor and those did fit!

It keeps the wheelchair from going over backwards when she pushes hard with her feet on the floor. She can not control her muscle spasms. They can be adjusted if necessary but for me set once and forget. Kind of a perfect product.

I ordered these for my friend and fixed his wheelchair. His old wheels had broken and weren't truly right for his chair. These fit right in place and were adjustable, where his old wheel hadn't been. He is very happy with them.

Work well but the stated there was only one per package. I ordered two and got two pairs (4). Only problem is they catch on door thresh hold when going out door to landing.
