Cuisipro Silicone Spoon 11.5 Inch, Red

This is a good quality spoon. I use is almost every time I’m cooking or baking. It’s a good value for the money. I highly recommend this. You won’t be disappointed.

I don't usually write reviews about spoons because it's a spoon, so what can you say. But I wanted to tell anyone considering this one that it really is a very cool looking, useful, well put together item.The stainless handle is solid and comfortable, it has a ring on the end if you want to hang it somewhere, the silicone spoon itself is thick and strong, yet pliable enough to clean the food out of pots completely.I will be buying more of Cuisipro's spoons and spatulas in the future.Attractive, well crafted and useful.

We were trying to replace the spoon on the left in the photo, which has been a great workhorse in our kitchen and has a head dimension of about 4” long and 2.5” wide. The prduct description does not give dimensions of the head, just total length, and the one we got (11”) was much smaller—head dimensions 3.25” by 2”. Would have been helpful to have this head info in the description, but if you want a larger head get the 11.5” long version—that ome has the same dimensions as our original spoon.

The silicone is quite rigid with just the right amount of give to be useful for getting every last bit out of a pan. The metal handle feels solid and is comfortable. It cleans easy by hand, we have heavy mineralized water where we live and sometimes spots are left in the handle but a tiny drop of olive oil on a paper towel cleans it up. It also looks very intimidating in case you have unruly children visiting ;)

I choose this spoon for the shape of the handle -- hoping it would be more comfortable than a wooden spoon for mixing when baking. It is much better. My favorite thing about the spoon is that I can mix and scrape the sides of the bowl with one utensil. I'll be buying more of these -- love it!

It’s a heavy duty spatula! It says it would not get stained or absorb flavor (I got clear) and the first time I used it was for a tomato soup. IT STAINED! Also, I wouldn’t recommend using it for stirring over a hot pot or flame because the handle is metal and gets hot fast. I have to try and figure out how to get it back to being clear again :/
