Duracell Procell PC1500 Alkaline-Manganese Dioxide Battery, AA Size, 1.5V, 24 Count

These last longer than other batteries and these are now the ones I trust for shelf life.

They are Duracell. Don't know if they will provide the same service but the price was right.

Worked as expected.

Purchased these for my intrinsically safe flashlight for work. Decent battery life and they work well. Not a bad price to meet the intrinsically safe needs of the light.

The batteries arrived properly packaged, and while they supplier has changed to a light and dark gray schema, not the Orange and Black Labels they do have the same characteristics. I had purchased both the AA and AAA PROCELL Series, and have tested them extensively in photographic equipment, and for the additional costs that I paid for these batteries, I only averaged a 15% additional lifespan. They do power well for the first 3 hours, but they drop power dramatically after that. The one upside is that I did not find any "duds" in either package.

I have always purchased batteries at the warehouse store... but honestly, I find these batteries to be every bit as good and a better price, delivered right to my door. They seem to last as well if not a bit more than warehouse batteries I used to purchase. These are apparently "Duracell" so- maybe these last longer because they are "Procell?" Not sure. I just know that they do appear to last as long if not a bit longer than the warehouse batteries. Price is also a consideration for me. And these are delivered to me (I can use Alexa to reorder so easily) and are cheaper than going to the warehouse and buying the name brand there - even on sale. I go through a pretty good number of batteries and I like it when they last as long as they can. With 2 grandsons (4 and 7) and all the things they have that require batteries, it's an investment. When I can use rechargables, I of course do. But some things will not use the rechargables. I do recommend these.. they are worth ordering once and doing your own trial in my opinion. I purchase more of the AA than any other size, but I have purchased AAA's, C's and D's as well with as much success. Hope this helps some.
