You can turn the buzzer off, great space saver, 11" plates fit fine, minutes are adjustable
What I like most about it: you can turn the dinger OFF (as well as the child lock); it's a nice compact size and takes up much less room than my bulky old one. Also, my 11" plates fit perfectly with room to spare. I like the retro look with a big dial that you can set for any number of minutes, not just 30-second bursts.

You Won’t Be Disappointed
This is the best microwave I’ve ever had. Granted I’ve only had it a few weeks. I did not buy it for the soft close door. I bought it based on reviews and brand quality. I have the same brand toaster oven that I’ve had for years. I did not need a big clunky microwave. I had a stainless steel GE brand 1.1 cubic that had good reviews, it was super loud like a grinding noise, it died after a year and half. When you pushed the button to open door it slid around on counter. This microwave doesn’t do that. This microwave is powerful, heats food extremely evenly, dinner plate fits just fine, plenty big enough for what we use it for. Reheating food popping a bag of popcorn, frozen vegetables, all do perfectly. The light is bright enough to see the food inside while cooking, not super bright but good enough. It’s super quiet! I love the dial to set cooking time. Other microwaves touch pads are dark and hard to see in low lighting. This Doesn’t have a kitchen timer which is something I wish it had but not a deal breaker. Now, I’ve read reviews that door breaks and paint inside peels. So I’ll update this review in a few months, but I don’t think it will be an issue. If you have moisture inside after using just use a paper towel and wipe it out. No big deal. It does have child lock that I thought I could turn off but haven’t read about that yet. Again not a deal breaker. This is the quietest microwave I’ve ever seen. Love, love, this microwave.

Quiet and just the right size
The loud sounds of our old microwave might be an odd reason to have replaced it, but everything was so noisy! The button to open the door made a clunky sound, the door closing went, 'CHANK!' and every use ended with lots of beeping. This little oven does none of that. Even if you try to slam the door closed, it will gently (and quietly) close the door. What a relief! This oven is small but perfect for everything I need to do: A full-sized dinner plate fits fine, even a half-gallon of ice cream fits. I'll never microwave a turkey, so the size is great. The front controls are intuitive and easy to use. I wish we'd gotten this oven years ago. Perfect.

Great Microwave
We’ve had this microwave for a couple weeks now and really liking it. Not as large or as high wattage as our previous one but it gets the job done. We like that we were able to disable the child lock function and turn off all the beeps!

Unfortunate Breville experience
I have numerous Breville products which are usually reliable, but I am not happy with this microwave. After 10 months the clock starting to run 45 seconds fast for each minute, so that in 10 minutes it was already 8 minutes ahead. A few days later, the power is decreased, as it takes 7 minutes to heat a bowl of soup compared to the 2 minutes it did before. Even worse was Breville customer service. I called and was on hold for an hour before giving up. I opened a ticket and after 10 days of hearing nothing, called again. I then selected the "call me back" option and received a call 3 hours later. The service rep was patient with me, but also had me search for the serial number which I said was on a sticker on the back, but she kept disagreeing and insisting it was imprinted on the bottom of the microwave. After pulling it out, emptying it, and flipping it upside down and finding no number, she kept insisting. I emailed her a picture of the bottom, and the sticker I had found initially. What do you know, the number was on the sticker I first thought it was. Next I had to send her a proof of purchase, but despite giving her two email addresses to send a form to, I received neither. I uploaded a copy to the case I had opened. She approved the exchange, but I have to receive a shipping label (by the email that still hasn't worked,) take it to UPS, ship it, and wait for them to receive it and ship me a new one. So provided I drop it off immediately after writing this review, it will be 10-14 days of receiving a new one. I'm not sure about you guys, but I use my microwave numerous times a day. I asked to talk with a supervisor, to which she replied "I'd have to escalate the case." Um, ok so escalate it! She said one would call me back in 48-72 hours....
