amscan Men Adult Superman Classic Superhero Costume Fancy Dress

Purchased for a fancy dress party. Arrived promptly, easy to put on, fits well over weekday clothes and gave me the 6-pack my wife always wanted me to have!

As a 6'4" man who was doing an inflatable obstacle course for charity, I thought that dressing as Superman was a great idea. Unsure of the sizing needed, I opted for the largest size I could, assuming that would allow for my height. Well... I wasn't far off. From the front, everything looked fine. The cape was thankfully blocking the view from behind, as the seam was wedged firmly between my buttocks, with the overall length of the torso being just a little too short. The rest of the costume was a little baggy (which I expected, having gone for the largest size, but that wasn't the main issue.Unfortunately, some of the race occurred outside. As it was a windy and lightly raining day, coupled with my choice to wear only my boxers and socks underneath the costume to avoid overheating during the run, I found that the costume took on the properties of clingfilm when presented to the wind. As a result, to avoid ending up on some form of register that I most definitely do not belong on, I had to walk with the cape wrapped around myself in order to ensure that no spectating or participating children became aware of the fact that my giblets were on full display. Lesson learned: wear a cup next time I dress as Superman.Side note - diving headfirst in an attempt to fly over a rope swing pit, my cape fluttering gloriously behind me did create a highlight for those watching... even if landing on my face was decidedly un-heroic.

Exactly as described. Good easy to wear costume and the “muscles” look good on the chest of it. Just one thing, it’s hot to wear ! Recommended though.

This is a great costume but unfortunately i ordered a size to big. I will order again for next year or just put on weight, which ever comes first.
